I don´t get this lot-limit as well, especially for the price they are asking I would not expect ANY limits. It could be as a safety to prevent liquidity-problems, but with serious brokers (Currenex / Integral), orders of up to 100 lots (!) get executed in under a second and if you look at the order-book, especially in the times when NO trades (News, Spikes), the order-book (Level 2 on Integral) is full with requests of up to 5000 lots (summarized).

Exactly, especially since with a few lines of code you have your own bollinger bands breakout strategy. Surely mine is not as professionally managed and does most likely not work for every broker (a thing that a vendor needs to guarantee), but for that mine was free, apart from my time, and I can adapt it whenever needed and on top you learn to code better and better.

It´s to expensive for this strategy, seriously, it is no different to MDP, except that it uses different trigger points. But apart from this it is based on a simple Bollinger Bands breakout strategy that I have coded myself as well a long time ago and which works OK. But for that pricing, no, thanks;)

That is normal and the same as with any scalper that has a stop loss of just 3 pips. It´s the same for Million Dollar Pips as well, I have it running on the same VPS, same broker, but different accounts (though the same type of account) for a friend, and he get´s different results than me, that´s normal for such a brutal strategy. But in the long run, NumberOne seems to work good for all brokers that are fast and ECN, though the results will always be different for each account. But as long as it grows steady in the long run, who cares.

I see, but I wanted to know the difference technically because the trades are identically for me, neither MDP nor NumberOne, both lost and won the same way for me. If setting MDP to 1 trade at a time only, it works pretty identically to NumberOne.

Can the developer speak about what is different compared to MDP? If I do a backtest, I get almost the same trades with MDP with Max Orders set to 1. The only difference I see is that for your EA it runs on any pair and that the trigger-pips for the spike can be defined and that the stop loss is 3 pips. But apart from this, the trades in backtest are almost identically.

@warnisw: simple, because as he said, he needs money to start trading with it first, hence he also only sells a few copies to have a good initial deposit and then trade his own system.I am though wondering where I can see the 99% quality backtest with tick-data, the link in the Thread is dead:(

Professor, this is a new version of Megadroid which comes out shortly, so it´s different from the old Megadroid. But it´s made by the same team and what I´ve seen from the beta-phase so far, this looks VERY promising. Unforutnately the creator had to remove it because of copyright.

This will fail on real account because of slippage. Just look, average winning trade is 2.01 pips! Slippage will kill that and it will never work on a real account, only on demo where there is no slippage. Or can you show us a successful live account that trades this?

It might be good to reveal which crappy broker is stopping you with MDP now, because if they can do that, they are NOT an ECN, just in case they promoted to be one, you´ve just caught them and should make it public who it is so others don´t fall into that trap.

Your system will get killed by slippage + requotes on a live account with a TP of just half a pip. Sorry to say, but that won´t work.
