A few hours ago myfxbook accounts stopped receiving updates. I'm using ftp publishing and I've checked things on my end.

@TiffanyK Did not backtest it yet, but simulated it on some arbitrary price movements. I'd stop whenever the money is needed (likely in years, it's a long term strategy).@argreen Thanks for the advice about when to enter the market. I don't quite see how this is a grid strategy, though. I'm not trying to be agnostic to the price movement direction. This strategy will lose money if s&p goes down.

Any thoughts or feedback on a long term strategy that only opens "buy" s&p 500 orders and tries to keep a fixed amount of lots per equity open at any given moment?For example:equity: $1000, open lots: 10(price goes up)equity $1100, open lots: 11(price goes down)equity $1000, open lots: 10(price goes down)equity $900, open lots: 9etc...

Tallinex does not accept US clients anymore.The list is here: https://forums.babypips.com/forex-brokers/36221-going-offshore-escape-cftc.htmlThe 4 brokers I have accounts with are TradeWiseFx, FinproTrading, TradersWay and FXChoice.

Thanks!I'm not using MT4 for this purpose. I'm trying to (programmatically) create a page with information about all my accounts (I have close to 10) without having to run a gazillion mt4 instances. Kinda similar to myfxbook account page, except a lot more customized with more metrics. I guess I could attach an EA to all my MT4 VPS instances that sends the data my way, but this seems too convoluted. Is it possible to retrieve the leverage of one of my accounts through the API? If so, how?I've noticed that I can view my leverage in the "portfolio" page, which means that the information is available. I can't seem to find it in the response of "get-my-accounts" though.

I've noticed that there are generally two broad types of accounts that brokers offer:(1) 0 commission, large spread(2) $3-$4 commission, tight spreadSo far I've been going for (2) to try to minimize slippage; my main concern was trades not getting copied if the price difference was too high.In some cases, however, account (1) seems to be a better deal (cases where commissions are too high, leverage is too low, or min deposit is too high), so I'm actually now revising my conclusion that (2) is better for copy trading to make sure I'm not missing something.Any advice?

I don't receive statements from all my brokers.Printing a statement from the terminal seems like a good fallback solution. I could also manually keep track of my monthly stats in a spreadsheet. It's just more tedious to do that for 10 accounts. It'll even be more tedious to perform any sort of analytics.It'll be much more convenient for me if there's a service that can do that. Myfxbook provides all the information that I need, and it would solve my problem if it can keep my history even if my broker deleted it.Still open to other suggestions that can scale for multiple acc...

I have multiple accounts at different brokers and I'm using ftp publishing to upload my transactions history to myfxbook. I'm trying to keep a robust history of my accounts for tax purposes, but my brokers can't guarantee keeping the transactions history indefinitely.What will happen to myfxbook account history if my broker deleted part (or all) of my account history? Will myfxbook keep the existing history and merge the new transactions? If you're wondering about their motivation to do so, here's my take on it:- It's fun for the signal provider. Feeling that there are tens or hundreds of traders who trust the provider and remain subscribed because they are impressed by their trades is kinda cool.- Extra stable income. They get to earn as much as they do from their trades and have a less risky source of income from their followers. Popular signal providers could earn as much as $10k-$30k per month from their subscribers.
