i have switched off all my EAs and closed all my manual trades. having had my fingers burned by Alpari, im just going to sit and watch what happens today

many thanks that one works! just hope the money is safe and can be refunded! the whole thing is a massive shame, i liked Alpari they were always very helpful if i had any problems, and seemed to be a very well run brokerage

i think Jared should consider starting again with a new Fxbook account. Everything that has happened over the last few days has made people very skeptical about how things are run, it seems nobody is getting the same results as he is posting. It would be good to see him start again with him taking money out of the account now and again, just to prove everything is above bored.After all we all want the same thing on this site and thats to see a successful EA. Personally i would rather it was run with realistic lot sizes and not some massive risky trades, just to make him look like he is making ...

they still have to pay all the money back in 2 years plus interest not sure i would be buying any stock long term

If Alpari has managed to get into this mess, would it mean it was partly caused by trading against its clients and not passing the order through to the market, or it was still taking trades from clients and couldn't pass them through?

your right i should have used other brokers as well, but my thoughts were that Alpari being a uk broker and regulated by the F.S.A. would be the safest of the lot

Its a bit annoying to be looking at the stats and the massive profit spike this is now showing, when i dont have the same results, im still in a loss for the year so far!
