Hi allI have been working on an EA that does look pretty good. if you are interested in it - it can be dowloaded fom PC Fix For U in the Articles directory and the file mane is called TheMomentumTraderV2.mq4. Please post me for instructions on how to use it if you are not sure.

LOL you guys are funny... I have been told by my wife to stop displaying my trades 😞. She says that I will attract too much attention next week when I start trading my new EA. What do you guys recon?...oh and she also said to stop displaying that bloody lluminati avitar!!!!

HI Pheniox,I am an IT Consultant and am very well versed with that side of things. I probably would not use a Microsoft SQL database to maintain anything as that costs money - I prefer to use mysql instead as I am not running an enterprise (not too shaw what you would need on for). I have a VPS which my script runs on that is in a corporate data centre right close to my service provider so I believe latency would not be a problem either. If you need any help or advice with servers please let me know as I can probably help you out with advise. Be well an best regards,Martin.

I just managed to make my EA nearly double it's performance... Little bit of testing, a huge bit of luck I might just make a couple of bucks without destroying my account. Best of all my account has been verified so you can see I am a genuine trader risking real money now.... adds to the excitement eh?😉

I am with them too and can't say I have any problems. However I haven't looked too closely at their market execution times. I run all my trades from a VPS so I would hope that the times are very fast. I will be looking into this however I have been making pips and am not too concerned.

I am going to trade 5 currencies today with my EA. After all the testing and bug fixing on the weekend I am ready to roll. It is going to be like screaming down the highway on a Y2k jet bike with the throttle wide open... Who recons that I will do well? Hi all,At the moment (for around 8 months) I am writing an EA like most. What I have found is that I have many times more exit rules that entry filters. Who else here is finding the same thing?For those who don't know what I am talking about, I am referring to when the EA picks a point and places an order as all the requirements to trade are met (entry filter). An exit rule as you might have guessed is when the EA matches the current market conditions to an exit rule (stop losses do this).I must say I am not a big fan of stop loss as they don't tune themselves to market conditions and ...

Be very carful using stops - it is a better stratery to watch your indicators and chart - know what they are tellling you - i.e. when they alert you to close the order. If you practice this instead of just guessing by using stops you will become a much smarter trader. Remember no-one knows for sure what the market is going to do next, all you can be sure of what it has done in the past and what is doing presently.

I think that the furthest I would go is serve trade signals for free but if it went bang that would be bad luck for everyone including me. I think there is no REAL money in selling a PROFITABLE EA - if it really is profitable you don't need to sell it do you? Who would want the stress? Not me. Anyway just thoughts

Thanks Emanuele, I have been working on this for quite a while. Tonight I am going to trade EURUSD as well as AUDUSD so hopefully this will increase my rate of return. It is early days yet for me. Hopefully we will both make some big bucks!!!
