GBP trade taking some time, took a gold scalp trade for $141. Not a huge trade and could probably hold for more, but since I am in a GBP/USD trade and gold is XAU/USD, I don't want too much exposure to USD. That's another 14% of original deposit so ka-ching! PS: How long to get out of moderation?

Just booked another gold sell trade, picking up $470. That's 47% of original deposit so I am happy. Not exactly a smooth ride though but well, $470 is $470.Now in a GBP trade, let's see what happens.

Booked my EUR/AUD short trade for $214. Quite a frustrating trade. Entry was good, was about 15 pips in profit during Sydney hours. Took a nap, woke up to being 58 pips out. Went to nearly BE in the afternoon then erupted upwards to about 40 pips out of profit again. Finally closed for 22 pips profit. Sometimes things are as it is, so no grievance. After all, a profit of $214 was made, so no complaints.

Booked an early morning trade on USD/CAD for $130 (nett).Have a floating loss at the moment but I believe it will come back into profit. Shall hold it for a while and see what happens.

Technically, it's a new day in my country/timezone, lol. One XAU/USD trade, took a buy from 1825.34 to 1830. Banked 620 SGD. That's 62% of initial deposit.Off to a good start. I'm pleased.

One GBP/AUD sell trade, banked SGD 600 (after commission). Not bad. That's 60% of initial deposit or more than 20% of current balance. Cheers.

That doesn't explain why your drawdown is larger than your gain though.

1:500 should be the maximum. Leverage only amplify your trading, it doesn't make you a better trader.
Which pairs are your least favorite to trade? And why?
