Last week’s outlook: I expected EURCAD to reverse lower and break below 1.6050 within the week.What happened: Instead of dropping, the pair stalled — the uptrend paused, and the price has been consolidating for the past 7 days.Current view: Consolidation often signals an upcoming strong move. I remain bearish and still expect EURCAD to break below 1.62 soon.Invalidation: If EURCAD closes above 1.6350, I will reconsider my bearish outlook.

I think they complement each other. If you’re not already a good discretionary trader, how would you know what to code in the first place? An algorithm on its own doesn’t magically create an edge — it just automates the edge you’ve already developed through experience.So in my view, success still starts with strategy, risk management, and market understanding. Drawdown does not imply the losing trades you had, but it refers to how much unrealized loss you incur while trading. I hope this answers your question. Cheers.

Practice demo account very well before trading real. If you ain't consistently profitable with demo account, you will certainly not with real accounts.
