Yes. Forex is profitable if you use it wisely. You need to be patient to educate yourself as first step with high degree of patience.Think about everything in the logical way. I threw back my PhD degree and work as full time in forex as strategies researcher, IB, coder, account management (sometimes)... Lately, I coded my best ever EA which made to me 827% of profit in just 7 weeks.

Currency strength always in change according to news, supply and demand, and many other factorsDon't go with technical and fundamental analysis religiously and wait the price to hit your target but instead let your robot read the market tick by tick and ride the waves. ....

vontogor, I'm sorry for the delay. I have been sick and also environment around is very tough (electricity and Internet long hours cuts and also bombing around) :(No trading records yet because everything is still testing and continuous settings and coding changes. Sure, I will post some as soon as I got more stable results. But this topic is really worth to put an eye on it.

As a trader and programmer since 15 years ago, I have had the chance to try and code hundreds of strategies. Always trying to make it simple but almost nothing work.At the last 2 years I come with the idea to make a group of interested traders on Skype to develop one of my EAs who made 184% in 8 days then 420% in just the next 4 dsys but later the profit start going up and down which means we can't rely on it. It was named by Candle-Breakout ea. We are now 24 group members. We are almost one year working on it. The project lead to many ideas and finally we are working on Currency Strengths...

Multiplier = Lot_Multiplier = Lot_Exponent = ... = ... = ...All these names for calculating the Next Lot for the trade to open in casethe Order(s) are still in loss and price is away by (usually) certain number ofpips. This number of pips could named by Step or PipStep or something similar.These names normally used in Averaging/Martingale/Grid EAs.

Sorry. This is a high risk-High return system. You know what is the meaning f high risk. The history of account is not important for you as it is an old account and many EAs I used and manual trading is done as well, so, it is not related to this system.Last trading activity lead to 212.85% ... that was just 4 trading days.

I will give you a little help ... I did the following in my best EA ... It works very well for me ...Open same lot size for all orders (minimal as possible) ... Just let the EA open new order when at lease 2 or 3 indicators give a confirmation on the new bar open. No need to use PipStep or minimum distance between orders. Use other tricks like trailing stop and TP for orders. Profit is big even if you use minimal lot size and DD is minimal even when price go in the other side of the trade.195% in 5 weeks with 26% DD is not bad at all. Her is my test on live account ...
