Same here.... all losses, I just don't see how it opened buy trades on GBPUSD.... something is fishy.

My GBPUSD had sell trades (losses) where as the trades here are Buy... very strange.

This EA depends on tick data... and your brokers tick data might be a little different from the vendors broker's tick data. Hence the minor difference... but in the long run it balances out...At times the vendor has had losses where as mine had winners etc. Long term, it's a good strategy, control your risk, live to trade another day and this EA will do just fine.

I had one that closed in profit... and stayed open for a couple hours...This EA is dependent on tick data... make sure you have very little latency to your broker servers. One tick could make the difference between a trade getting triggered or not.

You ideally want a stop loss in there, what if you lose your connection or the market moves very sharply and the EA can't close out the trade in time?What you want is, lets say the SL is going to be 21 pips away.... when you open the trade, put the SL 50-70 pips away but do open the order with a SL and TP... when the price moves 21 pips against you, the EA should close the trade... keep a hidden internal SL.

@stevetrade I'm not trying to rub of the wrong way here... I'm sure there is a lot I can learn from you. Do banks hunt Stop losses? Of course they do... but are they hunting stop losses for Keltner? I doubt it. But yeah, sometimes it will get hit during their SL hunting but that can happen with any trade...Remember November 7th on EURUSD? there was clear stop loss hunting but none of keltner's trades got affected, because it didn't open trades....

Just trade it consistently, its a good strategy. And ignore the noise in these public forums. It someone thinks it will fail, it's just their opinion, respect it, and if you agree with it, go for it. If you don't, just know they could be wrong.If they haven't seen any commercial EA be profitable for the long haul, doesn't mean there isn't one. If there hasn't been any commercial EA that has been profitable in the long haul, doesn't mean there wont be one.Be the judge yourself, look at the strategy, and if it makes long term sense, it's a good EA. Give the EA time.. every system will face a draw down at one point or another. But over all this EA has a nice strategy, I believe it will be profitable in the long run.
