Forex can be a gamble depending on how you trade the market, it is gambling if you just click buy and sell "HOPING" it goes to you favor, but it's not a gamble if you analyze the market, use the correct money management, once you are sure where to go, hit the BUY or SELL button.

I am still trading for a living until today.Just tested GBPJPY yesterday to my trading portfolio for all of my managed account clients, and made 19 pips on a single trade with small lot! Increasing the lot size a bit now to make a reasonable profit:Drawdown is still very low, 2.4% for an average profit of 12% per month.https://www.myfxbook.com/members/scalpingforex/client-1/518945

Not deceiving, if you check the trading history, it started with $3,000 and made $900 gain, that is 28% gain, however just this month the investor put more money in the account ($7,000) so what you see now is 3000 + 7000 + profit of 900, total 10,900, that is why it says on myfxbook that the gain is 28% but the absolute gain is 9%, i hope by now you understand what "Gain" and "Abs. Gain" means on myfxbook.

Hmmm, you have a very good point there, yes you are right, i am a scalper where all of my trades are closed in seconds, so i never experience any condition where my balance is for example 150,000 but equity is 100,000 due to floating loss caused by long term trading or hedging, thanks for clearing it up :)

Yes I agree, it should be from the account balance, not equity, that is how i do it to all of my managed account clients.
