In my short history I can confirm this for a few signals already. When I join a signal it has not so many followers, then after a few weeks there are hundreds of followers. Then it busts. History repeating.The ugly truth is you have to figure it out yourself and let nobody join your strategy :-p

The group has a sum of $2.7 million on mql5 but there are also followers on SignalStart. Does anybody know at what point a sum of money actually affects the market during the Asian session when the volume is 'low'. It still is the most liquid pair in the world, so $2.7 million might still be nothing, are there any real statistics on that?

I have sent them about 6 questions on different occasions, only one of them was not answered because I replied the question was already solved before they could answer. Every other question I had was answered on the same day. I bet they get a lot of questions...

I compiled your numbers from the .pdf in an excel sheet. I have a question about the 85% drawdown. In week 5 the 1/4 signal fund loses 255 from 388 equity. This equals -58%. But the margin stop out was supposed to be -85% (hypothetically speaking) right?I attached my sheet here.

I better ask this in public instead of sending private messages, maybe it will be of help to others. If the monthly costs are not taken into consideration, which would you prefer personally, SignalStart or a MQL5 vps? I already have the ICMarkets-Live-03 server. I use both services already but I'm not sure where the SignalStart VPS would be located.

I replied something from my phone but it didn't post here. i did take into account the spreads and because of that I skipped all the exotic pairs, they ruined every strategy.I was wondering since it is 2019 maybe it's a bit late to start with MQL4. If you were to learn a new programming skill now, which would you choose? Maybe C# or Java?

I've read almost this entire topic. Although it is full of positive review-spam, which is pretty much ridiculous, I did subscribe for a signal, one way below in de rankings, not too fantastic results and one with moderate risk, always 0.1 lot size. I manually check each signals trading history and check ther lot sizes. Some show goof performance while trading 0.1 lots but some occasionally go up as high as 50 lots so they are obiously revenge traging or doing some kind of Martingale.There is a lot to be improved on the site as far as the filtering goes and ways to communicate with a signal...
One mt4 account for each EA?

Do you use many Expert Advisors within one account or do you keep them separated?I've noticed I can open multiple mt4 live accounts within icMarkets. I'm also planning to add multiple systems. Would it be wiser to split the equity over multiple accounts so you get 1 system per account to have a more clear view of the performance?

Hello everybody,I have been programming my own automated backtesting script in PHP MySQL for the past 3 months, mainly because PHP is my thing but also because don't see how the common software can automatically run thousands of tests while I'm away. I have imported all the currency pairs in every timeframe from tickstory. I programmed a crossover strategy which executes via cron every 3 minutes.
