One reason could be that people are poor.Sell an EA for 250$. 100 sales is 25.000$, if you just had say 1000$ to begin with, you have basically made the same money your EA would use years to obtain.

Not only did the NFP disappoint (which the August numbers usually do), but Average Weekly Hours feel too. Time to (sadly) write off a September rate hike.

Todays direction will likely be dicated by the NFP, a disapointment will fuel a JPY boost. Likely opening up a 101 level in next week. While a strong NFP might open 105 levels.There is the disappointing ISM data. But NFP is still lagging a bit on the ADP.

Poor ISM, which in turn could indicate a poor NFP tomorrow appears to be a big win for JPY, 80 pip in 45minuttes.

Jump due to some of the japanese "do everything to raise inflation" talks. They have had a tendency to just pass as the japanese don't react.

cTrader is C#. fxTrade is REST (or java), Protrader is C#, ninjatrader is C#, you can use C++ with REST or FIX api.

As so many Fed members have supported rate hike with few economic notions. I wouldn't rule out a rate hike support from Yellen as well, perhaps with a slight notion that the NFP remains healthy in August, unless the GDP where to drop even further on Friday. This could open 1.1150.

Another way to think of averaging strategies. Instead of opening 10 lots at say price 1.5. You can open 3 orders of a smaller 3 lots at 1.5, 1.6, 1.7.The worst martinegale or averaging strategies simply continue forever opening new orders which will result in a blow. Say you have an account capable of having 100 lots open (this require a at least 100.000$ on 100 leverage). And you use a doubling from 0.01. You can only do this 13 times.

GBP/USD will likely stay within the 1.31 - 1.3350 bound range it has been holding for the last 3 weeks until BoE decides in two days.A rate cut is fully priced in, but some speculate in a largely unnecessary QE expansion.
