Hi Fughe..Good to see you!Yeah.. The FXCM fella came onto my pc & we did the install then a screen poped up saying that. But I had to download the EA's again & I hope that didnt mess it up..Have to see how it goes..

I was installing eu/usd & us/jy with FXCM's vps & they told me the VPS administrator. Boston Technologies, needs to do the install. Has anyone ever been told the VPS admin needs to do it & if so how come? Thanks

Well said, Fughe.. There is no "Holy Grail" EA out there unless you are a huge wealthy investor that pays someone to update it for you.. I'm finding that one must take the time to learn to adjust the settings or.. chuck it in the bin & keep trying the latest "Dominator".. "Pip Stealer" or whatever else they call the newest re-packaged software.I'd be happy if you were the owner, Fughe, & willingly pay the $20 a month as a modest business expense considering the profits gained & I hope to learn more from your posts.

I'm still learning but isn't the best speed obtained with the VPS as close as possible to the broker & then we are dependant on his execution.. which we can't affect..😑

I just read at forexrobotnation that IBFX definitely frowns on scalpers.. Funny how these brokers are whining now the retailers have the tech tools available to use too..😀..

I'm looking at skydesks VPS to hook up with Pepperstone.. That rebate offer sounds good ..Thanks Arya & el_tobbes.. appreciate the response..have to get this up & running cause the wife's tolerance is about gone.. lol

Pepperstone just told me they don't offer VPS unless the client does 100 standard lots per month.. Is it feasible to get my own VPS & plug it into Pepperstone for the low spreads?

It's hard to get used to a robot trading your money after you've been day trading for awhile.. I have avery hard time not intervening on the exits even on a demo account.. But ya have to refrain & let the EA do its work on a demo
