It's very simple, modifying the ftp file of MT4 which is linked to the myfxbook server updated every now and then. But wait, the broker might have a licence, but the money manager does not always. In that case who trades? well it's the unlicensed money manager = you accept funds and trade investors funds. So.. i know some countries like france where this is completely illegal. Now once again my question is still left unanswered.. I'm not sure it's 100% legal if not properly done. Thanks

Hey guys, So, I was looking into opening a PAMM account soon however I noticed that PAMM accounts in brokers such as Alpari can be opened by basically any trader ! The problem is : if you are not a licensed money manager by your country's regulator, managing other people's money even through your broker is normally illegal ! I see.Well, when manually trading a specific strategy you do trade on several pairs up to about 20 pairs max right? So i don't see why a succcessful strategy could not be traded with the EA on multiple currencies... :)

You said import into myfxbook ? Is that the strategy tester or how can myfxbook help me i'm not aware of this function..Also, adding drawdown with drawdown and profits with profits is not correct. SO your method can not be used if wanting to have a profesionnal backtest. I'm looking for a way to cumulate drawdown of backtesting at X time with profits at X time in order to evaluate the systemic risk of the EA once ran over several currencies. Hi everyone,I'm currently working on EA's and i'm studying the drawdown compared to the performance annually. My question is simple : what is the industry acceptable level for drawdown compared to the performance in terms of ratio?I heard from a pro once, annual profit % has to be at least twice more than the annual drawdown. To be precise : I have 3 strategies with each a 1% money management. Hi everyone,So, i am currently working on multiple automated strategies and will launch some of them in the near future. My problem is : How can you assess the systemic risk of 1 EA performing over multiple currencies when in your backtests you can only see what would have happened on 1 currency? simple Ironman, 90% of EA's don't work in live. If you look at the details of their trades, they are mainly scalpers and a couple pips aren't enough sometimes to even pay the spread ! so ridiculous. When their not scalpers (because if they are they are of no value to me) then once again, they might work for a month, maybe 2 because market conditions are great and designed for the EA to work BUT after that what happens?
