Hey,
Yes you can... click on your MyFXBook Login name at the very top, right-hand side of this page, and then click on "Settings". On the page that opens, you should see the active accounts on your profile. Next to the account you wish to edit, click on the "Edit" button on the right-hand side. On the next page you can edit all the properties of your account. Scroll down to the "Permissions" section and then click on the option button (little dot on the right-hand side) and change the property you wish to either Public or Private...

Thanks Jaco . can you teach me about leverage . if we be given $100k with leverage 1:200 . what is the max lot we can open ? by putting stoploss we can get low drawdown ? its true ? im still new ..

Wow, my friend, the questions you ask are not as simple to explain as it seems. I can probably write pages in this forum about it, but very simply put the maximum lot will vary depending on which instrument (currency pair or stock) you trade. As far as a stop-loss goes, I never trade without both a stop-loss level (the amount of capital you may lose on a trade) and a take-profit (some call it a limit order - which is the target you aim for to close the trade at a profit). Placing your stop-loss at the correct level will protect your account, however, many new traders place a stop-loss at the incorrect place, which may result in them getting stopped out too soon, or cause them to loose too much on a trade that goes wrong.
I don't wish to go into detail in this forum, because this forum is reserved for the contest, but if you wish you can send me a message (go to my profile and click on the "Send Message" button next to my profile pic. I give trading courses to new traders locally where I live, and if you wish I can mail you some info (PDF files) that will answer most questions and help you to get started in trading. 😄

google baby pips and do their school u can learn lot of things from their school section its easy with examples and quizes http://www.babypips.com/school it can answer most of yur questions manusabkung personal advice is be wise while trading practice ur trading style till u perfect it

this new rules are strange. why set the maximum lot size? and is it 5 lots or 15 lots per open position? fxchoice please clarify???

We have had experienced a glitch in our server due to abnormal amount of orders placed by several users causing problems and stalling in our prices every half hour while trading was still available. Unfortunately we had to stop the contest whilst we were investigating.
An email was sent out to all users informing of the situation and our efforts in trying to correct the problem in order to continue the contest.
The contest will be relaunched again on Monday 30th March at +02:00 GMT with accounts starting from the beginning and will end Tuesday 14th April at 21:00 GMT.
Our customer support team is available if you have any queries or need any help via email or live chat.
For once more we apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

the additional rules are pretty good it will definately help new traders to learn a lot

The maximum allowed total volume of an open position and pending orders in one direction (either buy or sell) is 15 lots for each symbol.
It means i can open 15 lots on eur/usd and 15 lots on gbp/usd but at the same time ?or i can open only one positsion with 15 lots?

I still dont understand with : ... with an increase by 0.01 lot on every order ...
Also the max 15 lot in one direction, is it mean that we can have 3 open buy each 5 lot same pair and another 3 open sell?

max is 5 lot it means overall u can open only 5 lots at a time either u haave 5 positions of 1 lot 10 positions of 0.5 or 50 positions of 0.1 or a single position of 5 lot

with an increase in 0.01 means the minimum position is 0.01 so u can double it every time i guess the same applies to bigger lots like u open 1 lot u can open 2 lot in next position and 4 in next but since the max lot is 5 there might be limitation i explained it according to my knowledge if something is wrong u can go ask on theie live chat as stated in their email for queries u can ask live support
