In truth, no contestants "cheated" because they are simply using very high speed EA/Robot to make trades in this competition which will beat manual trading as can be seen by the top leader of this competition who bring the usd50k to over 22,762% gain in just a few days....i.e usd11, 399,172
For very obvious reason(s), these EA/Robot are not allowed to be used for trading by brokers in real trading account as it gives a very unfair advantage to Traders.
Very frankly, if the Organizer of this competition allow those competitors to use their super-duper EA/Robot, then those competitors who are trading manually in this competition have absolutely no chance in hell to win this competition as the the top competitors are just too far ahead in just one week of the competition.

I don't know what you mean by "don't have problems with executions".....I use five different brokers and three brokers platform have milliseconds trades execution time....one have slight delays now and again....but some trades on SF platform are delayed for seconds and even minutes. When the platform stopped responding, I have to log-out and back in to solve the problem, but it doesn't always work.

it is possible on demo of course, remember contest uses leveraged account for the complete contest.... in real account after 200.000 your leverage would be reduced drastically to 1:50 after 500.000 profit would be reduced to 1:20 then 1:10 1:5 and after 1 million profit welll, they would tell you leverage is not needed for you'r account balance so would be reduced 1:1...how much can you make with 1:1?? impossible profits on real account...this should be changed in contest rules...but the business to attract new members would be over because would show realistic profits...and broker business would be in pain.... so get used to this on contests :D

Меня с детства учили не плакать и не жаловаться. А здесь в сообществе я только и вижу жалобы и нытье. Во что превратился мир, ни кто не хочет бороться и доказывать что он лучший, ведь проще написать что кругом одни мошенники...

PS. Прежде чем жаловаться, лучше читайте правила конкурса, не хотите доказывать что вы лучше чем какой нибудь робот, участвуйте в тех конкурсах где советники запрещены.... стыдно просто мне за вас, вы только и можете что плакаться на форуме...

as mentioned in previous post from other trader, I don't know who, that the charged commissions here are extreme low . Participant who trade with 1000 lots and take profit just few thousand or 16K cannot be success in live account. Why? At live account you have to pay commission around 8 USD per lot and some ECN brokers charge up to 16 USD/lot. Now you just have to take the lots size and multiply with commission fees, and compare with the profits of such first range traders take,then you will see the unequal sum which will not be on their favor.
If broker are not ECN but offer fixed spreads then the spreads are also very large. SO for some pairs the spreads can be up to 6 pips or more (spreads means the difference between bids and asks prices). Demo account are not connected to the interbank markets,therefore there are always some delays between the true offered rates at the markets and the rates at demo account (we take as example: EUR/USD go up to 5 pips at 10:00 hrs but down 6 pips at 10.01 hrs, traders but sell, at live account you lost already 5 pips,in case you put your s/l just 5 pips,then you lost, at demo account those 5 pips up was not up at that time due to delay; what happen then? You can open your demo account and come to this chart and compare: http://m2m-vn.com/forum/ . Anyway good brokers always try to simulate their demo account as much as possible to reach the standards of live account up to certain degees, so at least commissions and spreads.
Contests are always offered by brokers. Pro brokers also offered forex robot contests. Such contests seem to be fair for me.
http://www.dukascopy.com/ Dukascopy offers contest too, but they don't allow EA. traders when enter in a position they should make s/l and t/p levels and also provide their analyze about their orders and post them public. Why? Such trading help hedge fund and many other investor analyze the trading skills of those traders, and maybe they will get lately a career as trader or money manager by them. So that means contests.
We are also EA coder, we know about the way EA work and we are not against EAs, but favor good EAs. But EA trade 1000 lots with commissions for few dollars and t/p for 1 pips or 0.3 pips....:D I have no words to say anymore.

I completely agree. Trading Robot competition should be separate. Otherwise it's not a level playing field. Why let manual traders register for the competition when robots are going to win the competition. It simply breaks the spirit of competition especially when there are so many new and developing traders who like to compete and see how they perform in a competitive atmosphere.
I am not against Robots but just that they should have separate competitions to judge which trading robot is the best.

We've just disqualified over 30 traders - please note this is an on-going process so we will continue to disqualify accounts throughout and at the end of the contest. >>>>This is given by management :) so by end of contest they will disqualify

no problems with execution, but data from the accounts are not 100% correct, my acc is 14 hours without update, there seens to exist some lack of quality, on the contest. the platform data is kind of slow, i have a 100Mbits fiber connection with almost 0 ping, and i have notice that on NFP release there was some lag on the servers.
for the 1st,2nd and 3rd and so on PLAY LIKE a MAN DO.

I just don't understand...1000 lots is equivalent to 1000 * 100 000 $ = 100 000 000 $ position size which is in the domain of banks and large institutions. No broker ever allows more than 50 lots per position on majors and on minors and exotics more than 10-20-30 lots. This is really stupid. It's not even remotely possible on live account. It's not speed chess where you have limited time to do something. These kind of competitions serve no purpose at all.
I'm in favour of enforcing a maximum DD, realistic lot size, like you would offer to someone on live account, and banning all HF trading as you as broker don't allow it, then why would allow it in a competition?

I know for a fact that there is at least one person on this list of cheaters who should not be called a cheater. I wont tell who it is. If you did some research and clicked on their strategy you would see what I'm talking about. Don't just accuse other people of cheating just because you cant make the same kind of increase.
Fact: Most people who make a living from FX having nothing to prove against people who don't
Fact: I am not one of those people who make a living out of FX 😑but I would like to be😉
