I think I might wait for it to retrace a bit (I hope it will) and then I'd rather go long, because with the way things are going it might reach 1300.

Of course Gold is going down, there is a hanging man candlestick on the weekly time frame, I don't know how I missed this.

The answer to your question depends on the horizon you are interested in.
In the long term gold looks bullish.
But in the short term there is more downside.

It appears that the long-term prognosis is the more applicable one for now. Of course, it has to break above the previous high to confirm the bullish term.
