You know your system does not match this topic requirement?
You account is fresh martingale account that will be wiped most probably.
I am sorry to say it does not belong to this topics.
1) The account must be real - no demo's. (please do not argue here that it is the same as a live acc. etc - the idea is not to engage in any arguments)
2) The account must be verified (please do not come and defend your unverified-but-want-to-participate account - there will simply be no interest)
3)DD must not be higher than 40% - (please. Once again. No justification for your above 40% dd, if it is higher - don't participate)
4)The account must be older than 3 months, maybe this is even still too young.
5)No martingales! (it might work for you, and I do not want to engage in an argument - just please keep to yourself and don't participate)

Hi just a question: What are the telltale signs of a martingale account? What exactly gives it away?

The trade history should :), or negative pips, but that can be due to averaging which is different.

Martingale in its very basics form double position size after each loss
So 1st trade 1 lot
2nd trade 2 lots
.
.
.
32 lot
So it is very dangerous because at the end it usually wipe account. You can see system is martingale when it has such position sizing.

Yes but many times the trade history is set to private. Which stats generally show a martingale strategy? I'm assuming negative pips, average loss> average win. Anything else?

Well, not all negative pip gain with positive profit is Martingale, as if a strategy trades GOLD then such phenomena can be observed even without Martingaling.
"Straight line" profit curve with poor Average Monthly Gain : Max. DD ratio (1:5 or lower) can be other signs of Martingale strategies.

clost at open 7 trades ( thows trader have + pip = stop and then closed at open)
gpb/usd
winners 22 trades
lossers 11 trades
clost at open 8 trades ( thows trader have + pip = stop and then closed at open)
i trade 1;2 risk / reward ratio ( tp= 2st)
