Most of these so-called EAs are just scams. They brag about “strategies” with amazing backtests, but that’s because they’re run as strategies in MT4, where the code can peek at future prices thanks to a look-ahead cheat. On paper the results look incredible — almost no drawdown, smooth equity curve — but when you run them as real systems on a live account, performance collapses and drawdown shoots up. They sell you a dream based on fake testing, and in practice you just lose money. Don’t get fooled by the pretty graphs: a strategy in MT4 is not the same as a live system.
