they talk about the server. I also don't think it is .NET otherwise it would have no trouble, .NET is fast and robust, Windows is no problem too, times of NT 4.0 are long gone. The issue is MT4 both client and server is an ancient platform really. And the simple fact is brokers don't have enough computing power to handle the pick traffic MDP creates, I assume it growth at least 10 times normal. Little wonder.

Which broker is commenting that? It´s not .NET compiled, bullshit. Look at the code and external calls, nothing from .NET is refered there.

@crashev: has Pepperstone gotten any better with trade execution now? Last time I tried MDP there it was over 4 seconds to open a trade!

I don't know how the times are these days, but ppl report good results with them on another forum.
Also I've found out that sometimes slower execution is better than superior fast with slippage

I had a pretty good day too. It could have been better if I hadn't misread the pause....but still up about 1.2% for the day.

No way. I want 1.2 percent or nothing. 1.0 percent is just unacceptable. :)

I just figured that with current growth in about three years I'll be having lunch with Bill or Warren and giving them advice on investing. Hope they listen.

Do not use MDP with Pepperstone. They wrote a code and obstruct the MDP orders. Also sometimes in high impact they stopped the server. I lost %60 because of that stop...

Be careful about Pepperstone. FOr me they are fraud.
