I've also reported it as a bug, which you could have done ages ago yourself.

Why are you so aggressive ?- I am one of your serious clients at Hotforex and you surely want more clients to join you - with your attitude you will loose clients - chill and behave yourself by giving normal business answers. If the draw down was 38%, all you can say is that it was so, but that you have change your risk and that can be seen through the last 18 months or so or you can tell me that I can go to hell if you rather like to answer your clients that why.

If you have found an error with a website, why would you ask anyone except the people responsible for the website?
Report the issue to them and don't waste people's time with silly questions that have nothing to do with them.

Mr Clever Trevor, you are the trader, you should know what the draw down was - answer the question: 9% or 38% draw down?

@JohannFX
On August 05 2014 the equity was 10402 and balance 16967, so it was a 38% DD. You can zoom on balance page and check for yourself

You are looking at stats given to you by an independent website, and you are still asking the trader?

I could tell you it was 5% and you would just believe me? No, I didn't think so. You might be really lazy but you are not stupid.

The stats are there for a reason. If I told you it was less than 10%, you have absolutely zero reason to believe that.

Seeing as it's somehow impossible for you to ask myfxbook why their website seems to be having an issue, it's just safer for you to just pick the higher value anyway regardless of what it actually is or what *anybody* tells you.

What I will tell you though, is that there will be occasions where it will go over 40% and that is still well within specifications.

With the negative reviews about HOT-FOREX on different sites, i had my doubt about them b4 joining.
I knew it would get to a point where the broker would start to tamper with executions( more like a dealing desk broker).
i think a true ECN broker would be preferred at this point..

@BP33 if i am to understand u clearly do u mean there are times/occasions where the Actual/Real Drawdown would be above 40% ??

Hotforex are supposed to be an STP/DMA broker. However, it is clear that they are not and their choice of liquidity providers leaves a lot to be desired as well.

Unfortunately most reviews are just worthless and are often made by bad traders having a whinge. Makes it very hard to tell which review actually has merit.

@tomazxyn Yep, that's exactly what I'm saying.

With regards to removing the funds from Hotforex, should I wait until monday or remove them now. Currently the equity is facing some major drawdown, will this fixed before stopping the account?

Bp33, you will stop 20 march trading on this pamm or if pamm will be in floating drawdown you will trade until not exit the drawdown?

Any open trades will be closed normally, then no new ones will be opened.

Withdrawals are of course up to each investors own preference but it's probably easier to wait until all open trades are closed so only have to put in one withdrawal request.

Hi there,

I notice that you have suddenly about 400 open positions!?!?
Is your plan to let them all close normally - in positive? This seems a very large amount all of a sudden!
Why are you suddenly leaving HF?? 3 weeks ago you were very happy!?

BR,

Patrick

Can you tell which broker you're gonna use so that I/we could set up an account and be ready for the start.

Best regards

Kim Jensen

@patrickdrew nothing unusual or sudden about that at all, is perfectly standard for this strategy. As mentioned, Hotforex have been caught doing dodgy things. No issues prior to this but that is just unacceptable.

As mentioned previously, will post in here when ready to go at a new broker.

Why do you have such a big drawdown today? Are you planing to close the positions in plus before moving? :(
Looking forward to invest in you again ;)

There's a perfectly normal drawdown for this strategy, if that's what you mean :)

Yes, orders will be closed in the normal way before moving.

IMHO you should never have announced the change in broker having such an amount of open positions with hotforex.

Unfortunately I do not believe you will recover from the DD this time. I hope to be wrong because I have money in the PAMM.

Some perspective for you, Pablo... the drawdown is fully expected as a normal part of the strategy so there's nothing to 'recover' from :)

Just in case there's any confusion:

The 20th is the date where no new investors are permitted, not the moving date.

Absolutely not moving until current open trades are closed.

Once they are, moving some time soon after that but no new trades will be opened in the mean time.

I'll advise once all trades are closed and will advise again once new setup is in place.
