Hi,
I trade manually and would like to copy trades to the contest with a trade copier. Will it be possible? The trade copier is an EA but it does not throw orders on its own, it just mirrors my manual trading. Thanks.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Please note that you can start and continue trading with any size you want. We have just mentioned the minimal trade size which is 0,01 lot and that you can increase it by 0,01 , but we do not advise what size to trade. You can directly start with 0,5 lot or even 1 -2 lots.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Please note that such an EA will not be allowed to be used as well.

Hi GDMFX Support Team,
I've registered the contest and I do received the email with the login ID and password,
I also manage to login to the account in MT4,
but how come I can't see my name in the Registered Competitor's list?
and I can see my account status is 'pending' in my portfolio - connection.
Can you help to advise?

I have the same problem, do i download something? wait? surely i need to connect some sort of trading account thats based at the website.
I could be missing something, when i joined the comp i was not asked to do/add/open anything.
if i go open an account at the broker what type is needed and what user/password do ii use?

The competitor's list and rankings will be available here: http://www.myfxbook.com/contests/forex-contest-gdmfx/38/competitors
The funds will be added when the contest is live (19th of Feb).

When you register for the contest you will receive your demo login credentials on your email. You can check them at any time here: http://www.myfxbook.com/contests/forex-contest-gdmfx/38/rules

Yes, you can trade from your laptop and from your phone.

Yes, after the contest goes live (19th of Feb) the funds will be automatically credited.

For those wishing to practice on GDMfx MT4 Trading Platform before the competition, make the following steps:
At your GDMfx MT4 Trading platform, click on “File” (top left hand corner)… in pop-down window, click “Open an account”….in pop-up window, click “next”….select “New demo account” and click “Next”… setting are preset to USD5,000 and Leverage at 1:200, but you can change the “Deposit” amount & Leverage as you wish. If you are happy with the settings, click on “I agree to subscribe to your newsletter” and then click “Next”…your Demo account has been created and you click “Finish”.
You can open Demo accounts from your MT4 Trading Platform as many times as you wish.
Enjoy your Demo account!

I am getting nowhere fast on a bad install.
I have my username and my password
I have my Mt4 set up
I am in the comp i can, see my name
The trading comp account is NOT in my portfolio.
If you hover over the "portfolio" tab on your account you will see a tab for the COMP thats whats missing/not on my account
So i need to manually set up a new account, add it and then hopefully link to MT4 (i downloaded when entering the comp) with the username and the password I was given when I entered the comp.
Can anyone on this thread tell me what type of account you are given when you enter the comp so i can set up the same type
?

Hello. All you need to do in order to sign up is to fill out the small registration form on http://www.myfxbook.com/contests/forex-contest-gdmfx/38/rules (if you haven't done so yet). If you already signed up on that link it will just show you the Demo login credentials.
