Love the 1 second holidng times. Try getting a fill at your price and getting out in a second with profit on live. Unless your server is at the actual exchange, you don't stand a chance.

Scalping is the only way to win this contest - going for mostly 1 - 2 pips. This type of trading can only work thru ECN brokers that have tight spreads. Most of us don't have 100k dollars to open an ECN account. So, it's out of question. However, it is a good opportunity for us living in the USA to test our strategies, made for the regular bucket shops, against the ECN broker like this. My EA definitely performs better with this ECN broker.
Don't tell me it's not possible.

Ja... that's insane.... have you noticed that he is not in a trade for more than 1'sec... that's what you call scalping.... and hey I don't mind... but it takes everything out of a competition that should run for a week.... the organizers should have a trading time limit of say 10 seconds minimum... or something like that... I don't know... I'm not even going to bother.... Thanx but NO thanx MyFXbook and Sqr'ed....

Yeah its too bad that its possible to trade like that. Totally ruins the competition for everybody else.

Personally I only have total respect for these guys producing such incredible gains, anyone in this competition that doesn't applaud the achievement being made here is jealous and dumb founded as to how its being done.
Is it manual trading? is it a robot?...who cares?
Would it be achieved if not in a demo account...maybe? maybe not?
Accept what's happening and that someone at trading is better than you and find out why!

actually a time limit before you could exit your trades would be an interesting rule...

Nothing.... it's actually quite interesting... but it F#@K's up the competition for those of us who WOULD actually like like to keep interested in a TRADING competition over a MONTH....
I'm not against it... but I think it should be regulated a bit... Put a scalping time frame of a min trade time of 10sec's per trade and let's see how that EA performs....
I'd put money on it that at 1000lots per trade... that account would be toast... sooner or later...
It's still interesting...

I really don't want to knock Sergyus at all.... in fact he's taught me a thing or two by taking a different look at my own EA's... but, as a matter of interest... if you look at his live accounts.... (none of which have been updated with MyFXbook since Dec 2013)... their daily performance is only 0.14% and 0.42% (or something like that) per day... that's good... but not nearly as good as his performance over the last few days...
