Having a good mentor is good. But a mentor can not make you profitable. He can just show you some aspect of trading. To be profitable you have to find out your own trading edge. You have to find your strength and weakness and have to work according to that.

totally wrong. Mentor is for making trader profitable, not just to show you guidelines. otherwise this is no Mentor!!!

Mentor will not necessarily trade for you, only guide.

@jimmycdn No a mentor can't make you profitable he can only guide you. In fact no one can but you. Benjamin Graham was the mentor of legendary Warren Buffett. Only a few of his students are well known. Doesn't it make him a bad mentor as all of his students are not profitable. If a mentor can make us topper everyone would be topper in the class.

If you want to build a good trading career, you need a good trading plan. To make a good and profitable plan you need a good mentor.
