I am currently looking into the possibility of backtesting EAs using tick-data based on this tutorial: http://eareview.net/tick-data
I got the tick-data from dukascopy and converted it to fxt, unfortunately whatever I do the backtest won't start with an invalid data error. When I try to start it a second time, MT crashes. I did everything as explained in the tutorial including changing the local settings to a dot as decimal separator, so that should not be the problem.
Does anyone have an idea or maybe a different tutorial I could try?
