No, that's what an EA is for, manage the trades for you. But you can if you like ;)

If you don't want open positions during the weekend then you can use the settings "No More Trades After Friday 17:00 UTC" and / or "Close Trades on Friday 20:45 UTC".

Thanks Walter for your comprehensive explanation it's much appreciated. I am sure I will be a customer soon. With that 5% you mentioned is that for each of those 3 trades? so you are risking 15% per pattern developed maximum?

I am sure the drawdown amount on this account was originally higher than zero? still small but it wasn't zero? I notice it hasn't updated in 9 hours, are you able to set a more frequent update frequency maybe hourly or less, then will have a truer picture of open drawdown of trades are market moves. thanks.

Hi Walter ,
once the trades are placed , can we modify SL manually without the EA modifying them back to its original parameters ?
I personally do not feel comfortable with SL more then 50 pips ... and thanks to Dutchie to share open trades ...will vouch him.

That 5 % is not the risk, it is 5 % of free margin is Lot size.
My Myfxbook was not started yet but account should be updated now.

This one: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/forexdutchie/harmonics-trader/2046643 is a third party account and I have no control over it, but I know that he is on default settings, only sometimes he closes trades before market close (weekend) and sometimes he does not.

One problem i noticed is that it takes the profit too late.. it reaches +12 profit but closes it with +1 or so.. Needs update

so on the basis of a two or three trade sample size you are suggesting he change the system? LOL

He doesnt have to change the entire system.. He can give us more control over the "trailing" system. Or improve.

Hi Walter, I notice you have all the trades tagged with the various patterns the system is trading. In backtesting do you also have a breakup of the results of the various patterns? So in theory you could turn off the patters that aren't profitable. I see some patters have detracted -10% from performance and others adding over 20% to overall profit. I guess April to October is too short of a time frame to look at on here, so have you got back tests for each of the patterns over the longer term? thanks heaps.

Optimization was done on each pattern separate for the period March 14 to July 17.
That's why EU has 10 patterns, AU 7 and UJ only 2 patterns.
Turning on and off each pattern is no longer an option because this time around I wanted to keep things as easy as possible for the user.
And indeed, April to now is quite short a period to judge the strategy.
It EA needs a longer term to prove what it's capabel of.
