I use an account protection ea, it will close all trades when a certain percentage drawdown is made. I use it to safe guard my balance

I bought this EA 4 days ago, today I stopped. I can't rely on Grid strategies on non-cent accounts what I don't allow to be blown down.
It opened a position yesterday it looked the EA was waiting for a retracement but it didn't happen so now there are 4 open positions against the trend. EURUSD is in long now what would the EA is waiting for...?
Also it is very bad that the licence what Alex gives is for MT4 accounts (3 or 5) so we have to be very careful with the tests.
My base line is that every people want to be honest and craving the Good in life so I don't want to say any bad things on it only the facts.
The backtests look amazing it was great to play with.

So there is no trade for today,
Friday no trade and Monday no trade nw Tuesday no trade as well ...
Nw Wednesday and Thursday is left lets see this EA make any trade or not for this week...
I think u can't make a money with small account if u r using this EA, u should got big accounts like 10K to make 2K profit a month...
Its just waste of time with 1K account...

Actually EURUSD just keep rising so if I had let the EA working it would mean the 8th or 9th positon open against trend..

I got one trade today that was a winner. Thats the only trade so far this week.

@Giller You sure you set it right?
@shaan295 you don't need a big account, if this EA makes 20% a month on a 1k account you have in one year 8900$ and in 2 years 79.000$. in 3years 708.801$ and so on.... :D
And like you can see in his LION Chart he got even over 300% in 4 months.
So a small account is fine in my opinion.
Just let the EA be profitable and no major DD then we will be fine.

My trade was opened yesterday night with the first position (CET time, Broker is GMT +2). This mornig with the long run it opened 3 more positions than I stopped.
Can you send me detailes about your trades? How many position opened? When exactely?

@Giller you should check your EA setting, because the last trade opened on Thursday and closed all positions after couple of hours, EA didn't open any trade friday monday and Tuesday, so you should check you EA setting..

With GMTOffset wrong (+1 and +3 in my situation with magic 100000 and 300000) today is a disaster...
With GMTOffset right (+2 with magic number 897789) there is no trade today.

Vendor made 30.8 pips from the 8 trades. You should expect DD and then recovery with a grid EA like this.

I didn´t get any trade today... And vendor make big profit. Im using it in 2 brokers and the gmt and other things are well set. I don´t understand.
