The reason why nobody ever sees a very long term martingale system test is because none have survived. To the best of my knowledge, Tom's EA is the longest running martingale system test that is still in profit.
Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

The results look too good to be true. Also the Broker being used is - https://www.bdfx.com/about-bdfx.html and there is Not 1 public account using this broker at this website.

How does a 2008 statistic have anything to do with a system started 2 years after that??
Any one of us could retire after a trade like that!
Look carefully, some things just don't add up.

Sure of course. You can google the virtual dealer plugin from metaquotes. There was once videos around showing the modification of the candles.
You know what, just think about HOW the MT4 History Cente works. We can go into the History center and change candle prices to manipulate a backtest as well.
Its the same process!

No, I am running all 28 major/minor pairs with mine, nothing out of the ordinary
happened on any pair. The largest order was a 9X size on eur/aud.

I think this problem should be not from TOMs EA, but from VPS sides.
I hope you have already changed your password to your VPS and contacted support about the successful hack of your VPS. This is a very serious problem, and if someone is trying to make this EA look bad so you will stop using it....they completely have the capacity to wipe your account right at this very moment.

Hi everyone (that cares..;). One of my experiments of ignoring all orders smaller
than 6X has just completed. I consider complete when the account balance doubles.
I used a $2,000,000 'Pitcher' account running Tom's EA and 4 'Catcher'
accounts of $50K each. The 6X Catcher doubled to $100K after 6 weeks.
3X and 12X are behind and still growing. 9X's MT4 or TradeCopier database
got corrupt and crashes immediately after launch - but not before it made it
to $89K from $50K. I'll post the others when/if they complete...

The default settings for MT4i's Tradecopier Personal always set Equity to be proportional between
Sender and Receiver. So, it's easy to calculate what a 1X and 3X appear as, Lot-size on the Receiver (Catcher)
Then set one variable on the Receiver side: 'IgnoreLotsSmallerThan', so that only 6X, 9X, 12X, etc... get placed.
6X Catcher has been stopped forever now - mission accomplished.

50000/2000000 = 0.025, x 6 lots = 0.15, set Risk @ 3.0 (in TradeCopier Receiver settings), gives 0.45 as
what 'appears' at the doorstep on the Receiver. Next size down is 3X and shows up as 0.225 with this config.
So, because Equity will vary, I set the variable called 'IgnoreLotsSmallerThan' as halfway between, 0.3375.
One has to monitor that 'Ignore...' variable as Equity shrinks and grows, unfortunately, else wrong orders are let in
or even missed entirely.

I am not sure why some people from myfxbook.com can log in my account even I have uninstalled MT4 from VPS (that means the update EA from myfxbook.com has been stopped). Even Update EA still there, there is right for myfxbook.com to log in my account?
So I removed all account connection between myfxbook and MT4.
I am still investigating this issue with broker, TOMs EA and VPS, if you have any suggestion will be very helpful.
@craneliu - that is the verification system which is accessing your account on a regular basis to validate the results. If you wish to stop it, you can change the investor password.

@Ethan - Thanks for the followup! I thought that this was the case. Investors can't change anything on the account though, so that's not the problem.
As a part of TEA helpdesk I'm trying to help Craneliu with this case, and after reply we've got from broker I can only presume that either VPS or home PC security was compromised at some point
#1 all trades (including suspicious) were placed from the VPS
#2 "suspicious" trades haven't had magic number, which is must for our automated strategy, so 9 out of 10 that trades were manual
#3 mismatch in comment section in addition to absence of magic number

VPS itself could be compromised only on a side of admin panel database, since windows has pretty strong front end encryption. It's much simplier to get access to the whole admin panel with pwd and or option to reset one, rather than break in individual container. So if something like this took place - then clients would definitely heard something about that. Plus in that case I would have gone for credit card info, rather than forex trading accounts
This brings us to home PC, which is used to access the VPS, and 99% of the time has VPS pwd saved up, here we have a lot of options - starting from rootkits, ending with dishonest roommate
Anyhow, case is still open and we'll post some details here as the progress goes
