Forward Air Corp. (FWRD) announced Wednesday that Chairman, President and Chief Executive officer Tom Schmitt has departed the Company. Michael Hance has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, in addition to his current position as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary.
