@Thalantas Keep in mind your paying twice the commissions then (if trading ECN) as well as double spread.The spread will still widen as well on the one you close, even with a SL (unless its a small lot size/ your lucky).Not saying it couldn't work, The Ideas got some merit to it.Regards,Price Action Trader - 2% weekly returnMr Patient

Hardest language in the world to learn in my opinion :pYour trading system looks great, the DD is modest, but might be too high for some conservative signal followers.Also your average pip win is quite low, this may cause issues for signal followers with slow broker connections/ latency issues.Of course this doesn't make a difference if your trading or yourself.Well done on your success so far and keep up the good work! :)Regards,Price Action Trader - 2% weekly returnMr Patient

@FxMasterGuru Cool picture of the blind people with the elephant, a very succinct analogy. :)I agree though, 47% is a massive drawdown, most serious investors wont touch an account with more than 10% DD.A consistent, reliable strategy with a low DD will always attract more investors of all kinds than a volatile account with massive DD's, even if the latter produces a better overall return.Regards,Price Action Trader - 2% weekly returnMr Patient

@adrian8891 I agree with @CrazyTrader , I use Pepperstone with my "Consistent Forex Growth Strategy" andhavn't had any issues with slippage. In fact they are the tightest MT4 broker I have ever used.If your trading news you need to learn to deal with the slippage both slightly before and after the news event. Have you tried not trading the news perhaps? maybe something like Price Action (which is what I use) would yeild better results.Not trolling, wish you the best of luck with your trades, whatever style they are.Regards,Mr Patient

@MoneyCode Hi Money, Just wanted to leave my 2 cents. I use an ECN 'Razor' account on MT4 with Pepperstone as my broker.Been using them for a little while now with my current Price Action strategy and have not had any issues.They are definitely worth a look if your trying out different brokers.Regards,Mr Patient

@Thalantas Agreed, I wish if they were going to pull this with TWO separate fake profiles they would at least put a bit of effort in to make it at least LOOK legit. It's like they don't realise how dodgy that '1 post' looks in the top right hand corner. Regards,Mr Patient

@RichardRIch Hi Richard,Please use the @ symbol to address particular comments to people in future.I understand that you have an 'alternative' fundamental style of trading, but a 90% drawdown is a 90% drawdown.Attacking someone else who points out that fact doesn't change what it is.If you are that touchy about people commenting on your large DD, I would recommend you make your system more private. @ForexAssistant I'm a avid user of the myfxbook site for the COT, liquidity and economic data sections the provide. Really happy with the easy interface and stability of the pages. I havent come across any of these ads that you mention though, never once have any sound ads been on the website, not sure whether its just infrequent or highly targeted marketing :SI will admit though that the pop-up ads that take up the whole screen are INFURIATING. @c3po Agreed, but I think there size, as well as their size and management style had a big impact as well.When finance companies like FX Concepts and Investment Banks such as Bear Stearns are created and ruled by larger than life Executives, things eventually go to hell when they refuse to change and adapt.That's why companies such as JP Morgan and Bridgewater succeed, they allow room for new talent and understand the importance of 24/7 compliance. :)Happy trading guys

@Professor53 Couldn't agree with you more Professor.It took me 3 years of trading to come to that conclusion as well.That's why my system goals are only 2% per week gain, which is a reasonable and achievable amount :)
