Between MT4 and MT5, the MT4 is definitely the more popular and useful one. I don't think there are many brokers that are even offering MT5. I'm guessing it's because they have to pay fees to MetaQuotes for offering it to their clients so, why bother with MT5 when there isn't much interest in it. MT4 on the other hand, has a lot of interest because of certain capabilities it has with regards to offline charts, etc.Stick with MT4; it's free and there's a lot of support for it on the web.

Hi users, I'm guessing this post won't even make it to the forum but if it does, I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue.I've noticed this issue at MT4 startup or restarts and it only happens with only 3 MT4 terminals out of 10 MT4 terminals that I'm simultaneously running. This event has occurred only a total of 4 times.I've written to myfxbook support about this but in typical disregarding fashion, I was told it was due to my anti-virus program recognizing FTP publishing as an IRC protocol.Either they don't know what they're talking about or...
