The lot size is 100,000 cents ($1000). The initial balance was 40,000 cents ($400).

5 is likely too much and might result in a margin call depending on your other settings. If you look at the comments on https://eareview.net/live-forward-test, I made some observations regarding risk and leverage in an older comment.As for backtesting, you can do that regardless of whether the broker is ECN or not. Keep in mind that MDP will very likely not work well on a fixed spread broker.

To be honest, those backtests are rather poorly done. Most likely the spread is different or something like that.

I don't have an account there so I can't check them out but if he used the default settings it's perfectly normal seeing that 1.2.0 comes with a higher default risk.

Yes, it's 1.2.0. You can set the risk as high as you wish in both of them, the difference being that the default is higher in 1.2.0 if I remember correctly.

Possibly, but it's definitely going to be very broker dependent. If the broker starts to give you slippage and requotes, that will probably kill all the profits. Also, if it starts becoming popular that might make it even worse.

Actually, you might be correct about FCS getting worse. As for the difference, it's not only caused by the changes in FCS but also by the fact that TFOT only uses two of the strategies whereas FCS now uses 4 and I can't say I'm impressed by the extra two.

Actually, it's the other way around: TFOT is a copy of an early version of Forex Combo System. As for the rather dramatic drawdown FCS is currently going through, it's also exhibited by TFOT so I'm not entirely sure what are you ahahahaha'ing about and what's your point.
