Pound/dollar was up yesterday, breaking above the resistance 1.3370 and topped at 1.3444. Expectations are up for testing key level 1.3500, a clear break above it may not only interrupt the downward phase after Brexit, but also to become an early signal of bullish reversal scenario. Support for the day is seen at 1.3370, whose breach could lead price to neutral trade zone testing 1.3300.

Euro/dollar rose higher yesterday, topped at 1.1262 and now struggling around the important 1.1250 level. The bias is bullish especially if price is able to make a clear break above 1.1250, re-testing 1.1350. Intraday support is 1.1200. A clear break below that area could lead price to neutral zone for testing support 1.1150/25 and will hold the phase of bears intacted.

USD/JPYThe pair broke a two-day positive series on Thursday after failing to overcome the psychological barrier at 104.00. The US dollar fell by about 20 pips to a closing price of 103.22 but managed to remain profitable since the beginning of the week. The bottom of the session was reached at 103.05. The price remains above the rising moving averages, but RSI lost positions, putting the Bulls to the test.

The British pound continued to rise against the dollar for the second consecutive session, overcoming its recent narrow range. The pair added 131 pips to a closing price of 1.3266, which was a one-month peak. Consolidation of current levels and confirmed break of 1.3270 will take the GBP/USD higher. Otherwise the price will test 1.3160.

The dollar registered a neutral session against the yen on Thursday. The pair traded in a narrow range, the difference between the highest and lowest value for the day was only 32 pips. Trade was open by a rate of 100.43, and the finish line was crossed at a price of 100.53, if the positive momentum from Wednesday continues in future, the couple will overcome the resistance at 101.16.

The pound record decline against the dollar on Thursday. British currency ended the three-day growth and thus break of resistance at 1.3288 was postponed. However, the pair tested the level, topped the day at 1.3168 and if the Bulls again prevail, it will be overcome. The session started at a price of 1.3230, while the pound lost 41 pips by the end of the day.

Dollar/yen continued downward momentum last week, bottomed at 99.53. The pair was traded higher earlier this morning and hit 100.92. The signals are up for testing 101.15/50 in the near future. A clear break above that area could trigger further bullish pressure testing 102.00, but basically I still prefer a bearish scenario. Immediate support is at 100.30, whose breakthrough could lead the price to neutral zone for testing 90.50.
