Just a quick update. Live account. MDP just gave me a 7% return on my account and then followed with a second trade set for a 16% return on my account. So that brings me to....+21% so far today. Thank God for blessing me!!

FGB is a trend follower so there for is not sensitive to spreads and other minor annoyances that kill other EAs. You will be fine anywhere as long as they keep the dirty broker trading tricks to a minimum.

That depends on how much of a purist you are when trading EAs. If you are one of those people who believe you should never intervene....then no....you should leave it alone. If you are a more experienced trader, then you will have identified that the market is whipsawing and the FGB cannot handle whipsawing. So you will either find earlier exits, or shut it off until market starts trending again.

wave trailing will make it more profitable in the end result, but you will have to suffer much more massive drawdowns.

In trending markets, you can leave it alone and it will make you rich. In choppy swinging markets, the EA needs to be monitored manually, or have a trailing EA setup to baby sit it....since the internal trailing function will not trail all of the positions.

If you are concerned about the FGB falling back to a loss, put a protective stoploss in above the entry price. that way it is nearly impossible to have a loss.

Heheh, you have been missing out then! It has been making me money this past week. At least since i tweaked the settings it has. I do recommend watching it on a demo to understand how it trades before putting it on a live account though.

The FGB doesn't like back and forth movement. Watch it close or it will eat your account quickly.

If you used their mt4 platform, it was demo only because they never went live with it. If you used the other platforms then you had to use a software bidge and that would have induced the latency necessary to cripple MDP.

Those are meant to be guidelines for new traders. In general, if a person's broker does not fit the criteria I laid out, MDP will not work in the long term. I have gathered these statistics from many different people on many different forums. And if you are getting spreads of >2 pips then MDP will not open trades. This is directly from tech support. If you are seeing success over the long term, then I suggest you leave everything alone and not alter anything, because you are succeeding by an error in the system. If you manage to fix the error, it will stop working for you.

I think the real problem is with MB Trading. I have heard a lot of people complain about their EAs failing on MB Trading.

Just a reminder for everyone. #1- MDP will NOT open trades if your spread is >2pips.#2- If your order open average time is >800ms, you will possibly miss trades/ get bad slippage that causes loses.I recommend you set the minimum and maximum lot size to your account minimum until you see that your setting are going to work on your account.

try re-installing FGB, then using the license software to re-activate you license #. Then start up mt4 and try it.
