Well, God did tell us to use wisdom, and to study to show ourselves approved. So, my obsessive research follows right along those principles. Praying for wisdom has assisted me in the setup greatly too. :)~Peace~

Yeah, from what i have seen, if you can get your times under 800ms, MDP will succeed. That said...MDP pulled in +54 pips today. I am trading on FXOpen's ECN with a good VPS located <1500miles away from the order server. 1300ms average open other times are 400-500ms. I had no losses. Now, you may wonder why my account did so well. I have only one explanation. I prayed for God to help me and make me profitable. Since I did that, the MDP has not made a single loss.

Hmmmm..... Well, at this point i am starting to think FXOpen is not so bad of a broker. My MDP hasn't even attempted to open a single trade yet today.

It isn't the bots that fails, it is the system they are built on that fails. If you can't tweak the system enough to keep it in sync with the market, the system will fail. There are some systems that will always work, but they still have to be tweaked every now and then.

I have never seen anyone say anything about their paid support so i can't say either way.I don't like grid and martingale systems because they give a false sense of security. The can build an account super fast, but they can destroy the entire thing in one trade set. As of yet, I have never found an EA using either of these that doesn't wipe out the account.My very first EA was a martingale EA system. $1000 is what I started with. trading in a penny account. 3 days later I had $10 left. You can NEVER tell when it is setting up to blow out the account. So I will not use that strateg...

Hey Professor, are you still trading with IBFX and still demoing on FinFX? I am hunting for a good broker because it appears that FXOpen can't handle the MDP. The order open time is 1200+ ms and today they just killed the trade servers as the MDP got the trade signals. They kept it offline just long enough that MDP couldn't place any trades.

Poor customer support is something you will have to get used to with the FGB. It takes them a while to get anything done. They do eventually get around to it, but you have to be very patient. Or a hacker. Take your pick.

Well....it looks like I may be forced to find a new broker. I have had 2 possible trade opportunities pop up today and BOTH times my broker disconnected before the trades could be placed. AND it wasn't my internet connection. The disconnect happened on the mt4s at my home and on my VPS. The broker is FXOpen.
