Mexico Consumer Confidence
Consumer Confidence Index (ICC) in Mexico is a metric that measures the current perceptions and future expectations that people have about their own economic situation, their family's economic situation, and the country as a whole, with respect to the purchase of consumer durables and non-durables, employment, inflation, and savings. A total of 2336 families in 32 major cities around the country were used to compile the index, which was released in September. As of January 2003, the ICC had a base of 100 points; levels above 100 imply optimism, 100 suggest neutrality, and levels below 100 indicate pessimism.
Hodnoty vyšší, než se očekává, by měly být považovány za pozitivní (býčí) pro MXN apod očekávané hodnoty by měly být považovány za negativní (medvědí) pro MXN.
