Dear vuxuanhung,

We do state that we will contact clients 'within two business days' but in most cases we do resolve this type of issue faster.

How do I get identification? Can I send a scanned passport or driver's license to verify identity? And where to send?

Do you know how ridiculous that is? You have a contest, that, aside from 3 winners, is here to benefit you. Make no mistake about it. This contest is for YOUR benefit, and we aaaaall know it. But hey, there's a chance to win and test our skills and it's fun, so we sign up. You get a ton of people on your mailing list(i.e. leads) and a bunch of potential new clients.

Now... in your infinite wisdom, you decided to do what -- as far as I know and have experienced -- No other broker has been stupid enough to do, and require your POTENTIAL FUTURE CLIENTS to jump through hoops for a DEMO account contest that does nothing other than benefit you in every way.

Well, I can tell you this, I may decide to verify. But unless I win, that's the end of my interest in FxChoice because if decision like this was made, I can only assume that there are plenty of other retarded decisions being made and that is certainly a cause for alarm.

Because you didn't verify your account by sending them all your personal information with 2 forms of gov't ID and proof of address so that they could sell your info and spam the hell out of you with sales letters and calls. They require this in order to activate your account. Be glad you're unable to participate in this contest.

See, that's all there is to it. Send them a bunch of personal info, phone number, photos of your ID and THEN you're allowed to sign up to their DEMO account and get hounded by their sales staff.

As you can see, they're really smart.

This is absolutely ridiculous why would people need to send all the documents for a demo competition, you have lost loads of potential customers by doing this

Yes, it is a joke. This contest, while having the potential to benefit a couple of contestants via a win, is here to benefit *them* the broker. To get them potential clients and generate publicity and leads. So far - fail.

When trying to drum up business and publicity you do NOT require your potential future clients to jump through a bunch of hoops and submit an unreasonable amount of personal information so you can then bombard them with sales calls and pressure sales. And THAT is the goal here.

If they decide to revoke that silly pre-requisite I will of course participate and will give them a big round of applause for making the right decision and it would put them in a very good light in my eyes. A business that listens to potential clients is a very positive thing. So I hope they learn from this incredible blunder and remove the requirement but honestly, I doubt they will.

Read the past 5 pages dude... they require you to verify your account with photo id's, phone text verification and proof of address. Yes... for a DEMO account. Without that, you can't trade.
