@CrazyTrader apologies if I caused offense, it was just some friendly banter. :) No offense meant - ultimately all traders are different -

one thing I can tell you for sure though - you wouldn't be looking at 40% draw-down if you did some fundamental research before hitting the order button on some of those pattern setups... I honestly think you will struggle to find any serious investor with 40% DD.... When I say serious, i'm talking about worthwhile investors that you can actually make a living from, i.e. 200K upwards, not pointless 10k accounts that you simply cant make a living from.

To illustrate:

Imagine you buy race horses....

Do you invest a horse because it looks cool and looks like a horse you saw win last week in terms of its build and coloring, or do you buy it because it has solid genetics, outstanding bloodlines, and exceptional training.....?

Surely you must agree that if you went for option one it would be a little silly...?

I'm not saying patterns are pointless, but i am saying that if you look at things from a logical investment point of view and use fundamental reasoning to cut out SOME of the trades you would otherwise blindly take then you will become more invest-able and wont be showing massive 40% draw downs any more....

Sorry if I sound preachy, im genuinely trying to help and am only talking from experience - but that's a subject for another area i guess.

Have a good weekend all.

I started trading with Instaforex since 2011 and everything is fine so far and I hope everything will be fine in future as well😉
In term of trading conditions they're good: Fast execution, fixed spread (3 pips for major pairs), no slippage. they don't allow closing trade below 5 minutes but actually they never canceled my profits made by trades closed bellow 5 minutes!
They're a market maker and it's not a problem at all, I follow the course in other brokers platform so I know that Instaforex never play with the courses, and you have to know that most of successful traders are trading with market makers not ECN brokers.

Withdrawal is very fast!

BTW, Instaforex is a big and reputed Russian company not just a small or amateur in this business.

I traded with XM Ironfx Exeness Hotforex and Admiral markets, I'd just say that Instaforex and Admiral markets are the bests!

It's nice to know that it's not just me having a good experience - I know there's been some bad press about them. I'm guessing the 5 min thing is more Relating to manual closes - after all, if there's a predetermined tp, it's down to the markets on how long it takes to hit them.

I'm going to stick with them for a while while I trial others and compare

For intraday and swing trading they're the best, but if you are scalper it'd be better if you open an ECN account with an ECN broker which provide tight spreads on crosses like Exeness! Good luck

Well, for the first time IFX cancelled my profit. I really hope it is due to miscalculation. Here is the screenshot of what they did https://prntscr.com/acl4rd

And my profit did not exceeded 10% at all. Their live support told me to send an email to dealer@instaforex.com for the issue. So I did yesterday night. Now waiting for their reply. Hope for the best.

One funny thing is myfxbook is showing this issue as deposit and withdrawal.

Hello Trader Instaforex want to know how it works, is a good Brokers? It is reliable?

HI i trade with Instaforex Broker more than 6 years.
The only problems I had with Instaforex Broker, was beyond the stage of difficulty of its own rules. They are just but some intolerable, the fact is that after knowledge taking the right steps, the system is all automatic and stable. In whitdrawls never had any problem with them, even managed to win once $ 85 in a few hours, a Bonus of them, the fact is that the bill had no more than a month of trades and the survey was smoothly. In six years despite having heard hardly a minimum percentage of people complain, I concluded later that if you do not keep all the requisites of the total check, you prove your identity, which is the hardest part and that He led these people to speak ill of them. Now your money comes to you trade if you win automatically lifting profits when you want, how you want, card or bank. In seven years I never had any problem with Instaforex, only bureaucratic above.
In terms of spread the best is always you work with rebates of Instaforex and key pairs to 3 pips each, come to pay you around monetary 1.5pip (Sorry for my English i'm Portuguese :D)

No way.

There are known issues like withdrawal trades execution, etc to indicate this is scam broker.

Personnaly I would never follow a scalping strategy futhermore with InstaForex... but good luck gambler.

So you know your profits made under 5 minutes may be cancelled one day... then you will tell us if InstaForex is great lol.

*By the way it's friday, I'm going to the golf... who cares?

so they are basically saying if you make 10% from a news release trade then you're in trouble - well I only look for 2% with 1% risk outlay so that explains why I've had no issues, and there's no gambling here - actually I study bank feeds, ransquawks high level analysis and in the past the Bloomberg feeds to get a high level fundamental picture of the markets which enables me to pick the right pairs at the right time to trade as opposed to blindly following some pattern and hoping for the best...

I'm a big advocate against gambling traders, in-fact i blog about it a lot, and have been teaching for several years with one of the largest and most respected FX education providers out there, and actually make a full time living from both Fund Management and Teaching FX, so while i'm no trading God (no one is) I would hope that my online reputation, and experience gives at least some merit to some of my posts/responses.

In terms of the actual subject in hand, i can only comment on my own experience and answered appropriately as you all have too :) without the need to start throwing judgments around like 'Gambler' lol... anyway - all in good nature and happy trading all!

Also, enjoy the Golf Crazy Trader - hope your game is better than your account Drawdowns! haha joking

Try to withdraw your money and they could adjust your trades...
