once i read that because of spread and commission this is not gonna work.. did u try and succeed.. i ddint tried this because in one forum some people object that it will not work.. do u suggest me some currency pairs that i can try..may be 15 min chart?

the reason why stat arb created is the facts you are saying
sliappage + cost are making conventional arbtirage profitless or loss.
but when you find 2 coroloated instrument, that means those can create a gap ( where trader can enter ) then when gap is closed trader makes profit. and if trade goes against means if instruments relation broken and moving away then loss will be miniaml.
that can ebdone but calculation needed.

MFB does not answer my question about removing of 2 posts that posted at statarb pro 250.000 thread
- posts has not contian any bad words.
- just explanation about the mean system.
from that removel I understand that I was actually very correct.
I am leaving MFB and moving to FF until MFB explain the reason of removal those 2 posts.
