Metatrader4 for sure. It has indicators and trade managers that wont work on mt5

I was always convinced that it doesn't matter which trading platform you prefer, the matter is that you feel free with it and it's quite convenient for you. Whether it will be MT4 or MT5, it doesn't matter at all. Of course, trading platforms are different and all of them have their own advntages and drawbacks, however when you're rookie the main for you is to learn how to trade with a help of these platforms. After you will gain enough experience, you can explore other platforms just to determine distinguishing traits. So, novices would better not pay lots of attention to such thing as trading platform.

Metatrader 4 vs Metatrader 5. However, they each serve a very different function and, contrary to popular belief, MT5 is not an upgrade of MT4. MT4 was specifically built for forex traders, whereas MT5 was designed to provide traders with access to CFDs, stocks, and futures.

I prefer MT4 and think it's navigable, plus there are tons of tutorials on YouTube. However, I think MT5 is also a good choice for beginners so it really comes down to preference.

Well, if you are looking for a user-frienly trading platform, MT platforms are not for you. I mean that they are awesome, but you need to take your time in order to learn how to use them. If you've got the choice of MT4 or MT5, I would learn mt5. I think that it is the future of trading platforms. In spite of the fact that it is not as popular as mt4, but it will gain popularity in the nearest future.

MT4 is still the best platform which we need to use to trade in forex trading because by so doing I guess that we will have all the functions and features which will enable us to trade and get the best from here thou some people still prefer mt5

Mt4 and mt5 don’t have the same server build-ups. Considering the improvements on mt5, it is faster when compared to mt4.

Meta trader 4 is my favorite trading platform even though meta trader 5 is more advanced than mt4. I understand the platform very well and I have been using it for long. To me, analyzing the market on mt5 is one of the toughest job because I am not that familiar with the platform.

The MT5 is an advanced broker when compared to the MT4, but the MT4 is a much simpler tool to use and understand for beginners, and it is mostly suitable only for currency trading. Whereas the MT5 can be used for both forex trading and stock trading purposes.

It doesn't really matter in my opinion, but MT4 is widely used (whereas a lot of brokers don't offer MT5 yet)

Meta trader 4 and Meta trader 5 are two widely used platforms but mt4 is simple to understand. On the other hand mt5 is hard to understand. But those who are expert about mt5, it is easy to them. So, it it’s a big deal whatever your platform type is, but the fact is that how much you know.
