Sorry to disappoint you but there is 2 aspects to a Martingale style of trading. One is an increase in lot size per trade which is usually double of the previous trade, but that is not happening here. Number 2 is trading against the trend which he does, but he does not open more than 2 trades per pair at anyone time.

Based on his results, draw down and winning percentage I would say that he has things under control so far. When you keep the max trades per pair to 2, even though the second trade may be against the trend and no increase in lot size, it would be much harder to blow an account with this style of trading.

winning percentage is actually what should make you worry.
if there are only profitable trades and no stop losses
what will happen with sudden market change? All these open trades will change into unprofitable.
So in coming months we will not see 13% open DD like now but 50-60%

Sharpe Ratio is a way to go.. If his sharpe ratio is above 1 then, It is a safe account.. My 2 cents.

DD was up abit last night due to high impact news. But overall I think all my trades performed very well last night at handling the news. I was expecting Audusd to change its momentum and rally upwards and which it did. I had to enter a few times because the market gave me a better price and opportunity to enter again. I do not have physical stoploss in place, but I do have mental stoploss incase of the spread hitting my stoploss which could close my trades prematurely. I am not afraid of trading against the trend as long as i'm confident that the market is changing its direction. Happy trading guys!
