Wait. Confused. TickMill DOES offer negative balance protection. But I won't consider them because for no-swap, you have to show your Voldemort-card.

I agree with you! Unfortunately, recently, there are more and more such brokers. Now a lot of companies without licenses, without any guarantees at all.

Actually, I don’t think it is hard to choose a right broker nowadays , because we can know from Forex Foruns which brokers are good one and most of the time those goods brokers would have many good promotions and they are more popular.

Just make sure that *if* you read a broker recommendation, and it's not a very custom comment like you find e.g. on Reddit but could instead be generic, Google it. You'll be surprised how often you find the same text for a different broker. Which, in turn, needn't mean that those brokers are bad, even though *someone* obviously paid for those fake reviews.

Advertising promotions and extras and trading games is also a signal for me of a not quite reliable broker. Good brokers are exposing their conditions clearly in a user friendly manner, so that you don't have to read the small letters at the bottom of the page.

TLDR - ICmarket 5,4(2.7 usd one way) commission per 100.000 (TOTAL) Interactivebroker 4(2 usd one way) commission per 100.000
ICmarket when you start - interactivebroker when you start trading 1+ lot per trade ( interactivebroker is a real fx market system so you should practise on a demo account while you trade )

ok.. so I think I used about 1 month searching everywhere on ze internet.. two brokers I like ICmarket, if you are new and don't have a lot of money.. they do have the lowest spreads (I've literally looked at all of them side by side trying to find out) and they also have the lowest commission... if you have 30k+ usd I'd go with interactive broker as their commission is even lower. starts at 4 USD per lot 100k usd traded both ways.. so basically 30 pips is about 4% commission. depending on pair ofc. there are some ads on ICmarkets that give you 60 trades commission free... their commission is 6 usd per 100k.. (you can get a bit lower 5,4 if you google for introducing brokers on google )

but please make sure you know your risk managment before you start trading with any levrage above 10. and don't ever in hell use their 500 levrage I'd max use 100 but I agree with what the US has done that levrage should be capped at around 50, cuz most people suck at trading, in which it's almost impossible to lose your money with 50 levrage ( I bet some people still mange to do it lol)

Interesting post.
When IcMarkets have commission of 5.4 and often zero spread (EURUSD) how is the spread of interactive brokers?
Leverage has nothing to do with risk. It determines just how big capital you need to trade your desired trade size. Low leverage could be as dangerous as high, there are plenty of low leverage wiped out accounts here on MFB.

ForexTime allows scalping, hedging, has optionally swap-free accounts (for everybody), true negative balance protection (at least in Germany, check if your country too), and relatively low spreads (e.g. EUR/USD often 0.3 pips) for their 'ECN' accounts, which in turn come with $4 commission per lot. Wider spreads but no commission on standard accounts. They also have Cent accounts, spread is even wider there.
Priority 1 in your life should be to find out what priority 2 is.

I write of them from experience, not as advertisement. The only others I have personal experience with are Trading212 and IG. Of these, FXTM is the best from a trading perspective, though IG is a close second, mostly because of their remarkable web platform.

There are almost thousands broker in online retail market place and most of them are found to be scams. So it is very much difficult to find a right broker from all, we can choose the broker which is more appropriate to the concept of trading that will be used , the traders who are particularly scalpers should choose the broker that allows trading concept such as this.

What does 'russian broker' mean? Do you mean the origin of the company? What about being regulated (like FXTM is)?

Based on my negative experience these are Russian broker characteristics
1. Creepy execution
2. Problem withdrawing profits or even deposits
3. Arrogant support.
4. Or even bankruptcy

For example InstaForex

You may be right. Anyway, my experiences so far:

I've made many deposits and withdrawals (even complete withdrawal (except Cent) by now, need more experience) with FXTM, no problems. (There were no profit-withdrawals.)

I frequently talk to live-support of 'all' 'my' brokers and others, in no case (incl. FXTM) did I experience arrogance or was not sufficiently informed (as far as I can tell), it was also always fast.

Bankruptcy should not be a danger if each customer account is insured up to e.g. €50,000 as some regulators require.
Priority 1 in your life should be to find out what priority 2 is.

Just to add few cents here:
Trading212 - UK registered company (behind the name Bulgarian owners and other name Trader.bg) - pure MM with bad fills :)

IG - Much better then Trading 212 in terms of fills and price stability of the flow. Years ago I have stopped using IG services due to a bug in their L2Dealer platform - not sure if they are keeps offering now.

FXTM - no need to comment - Vontogr explained why :)

As per my opinion I could define as trusty regulated brokers with stable price flow and execution: JFD Brokers, IC Markets, Ducas, Tickmill :)

Regulation is weak

I have seen according to my trading experience by and large traders think, only regulated trading broker can make sure a secure and comfortable trading life with certainly, but I think regulation is not a big deal when choosing a broker, the main fact is the credibility of the broker
