Demo trading the first of trading in Forex , but Honestly speaking I have never used this trading place when I was a newbie. Because I was bored in here. I studied in Pips School and besides this i was in live account with small balance. It worked greatly instead of demo account.

we always advise to learn basic level for beginners level , but learning can be useless if there is no regular practice in demo or micro account , so besides learning it is more appropriate to emphasis on practice session
Being on Demo should be where they start though, even with a micro account, it is still real money, so it's best to learn on demo until they get a solid understanding of the strategy they believe will work for them.
Even moving to a micro live account is a major emotional step for most new traders.
I agree with you about the micro account and new traders. Using a live micro account allows them to experience the emotions that come with live trading, and to experience blowing a few accounts due to things like revenge trading and such. All new traders think that they've got control of their emotions, right up to the point when they make a few bad trades and they start trying to "win it all back" :)
If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam! Let the buyer beware.

before some years ago , demo was the first choice for newcomer, but time has changed right now , beginners kick off live trading instead of demo , but result not actually.
If you want to be a best trader, the i say you must have to practice on demo account.

REB_FX posted:, agreed. i have certainly found this.
Not for me personally.
Plenty of great education for free/reasonably priced out there without spending huge amounts.
I think people new to trading are easily attracted to these courses, on the hope it will cut a corner and make them profitable quickly, but unfortunately this often is not the case.
Put the work in yourself and the rewards will be greater.

Hello Traders,
There are lot of good information on forex trading online but problem is if you are new to forex market you don't necessarily know which info is gold which is crap. I have been there myself. I would say you definitely need proper education when it comes to forex trading. Problem is it does not come free. If you seriously think about trading forex which you should because you will be risking your own money, I would say find a real trader who is making money consistently and learn from them. Do not pay some one who claim to be Guru/expert in trading but they actually don't trade themselves. Stay away from them, their main income source is teaching not trading. But real traders main income source is from trading not from teaching. There is a big difference. Thats why I say learn from long term successful traders.
Wish you all the best

Keep clear of the free information and opinions on forums. It is all junk or written by newbies. Find a proper paid for course from someone that has a myfxbook page with results
Paying for courses based upon someone having a stats page on myfxbook or other similar service is extremely bad advice, and people who give that kind of advice should be ignored. Account stats are easily manipulated to show "super gains" and "holy grail" trading methods, when in reality, the opposite is the case.
Focus on risk management as the #1 priority
Learn to trade on demo
Ignore anyone who says they have an "elite" or "secret" trading system for only $49.95 should be avoided.
There are no "elite" or "secret" systems available to the general public, and anyone who is willing to sell you this information is probably scamming you.
There are no "holy grail" trading systems for $49.95. They're a scam and you will only make someone else rich by buying them.
Paying for expensive trading classes and systems is absurd.
Don't waste your money, just learn the basics of trading and develop solid Risk Management discipline and you can be profitable.
MyFXBook, Forex Peach Army, and Baby Pips are great resources and are free.
Don't waste your money on scams.
If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam! Let the buyer beware.
