Hi Guys,

Sorry about yesterday. The Yellen testimony was not good for us.

The system does not like sharp spikes with extreme volatility.

Normally I only avoid NFP and FOMC, as all other news in the long run is highly profitable.

However, as non of us can afford another large loss, I am going to play it safe and turn it off until Yellen is finished today.

I will leave my systems running live at low risk to see what would have happen but turn off the signals to be safe.

Cheers, Andy
Andy,
You wrote on 16th Jul that you stop sending signal to keep it safe but you traded and lost 20% of my account during 2days,
Can you please explain it?

Hi Thomas,

I did not stop the system during the Yellen announcment then restart it after 2 hours after.

The main issue is the slippage, we should still be profitable after last week (see attachment tow posts ago). Normally the live and demo are more similar with this broker. I am working with the broker on this.

To anyone who is NOT happy, please please please stop following the system.

I am doing all I can and will contunue to do so. The system works look at the HOTSPOT MT4 BRIDGE DEMO under my profile, but the sort of slippage from last week from this broker is new to me.

Thanks loads, Cheers, Andy

Hi Everyone,

In terms of the system, next week, I am going try the new algorithm that I have been working on.
It uses USDJPY as well and helps offset risk from just one pair.

It has been working better on my live accounts in these current conditions. If this does not work better, I will take a break from sharing this to revisit everything.

When I started this I had increased my own funds more than 20 times (on 4 seperate accounts) with PFD but since sharing it has taken a downturn. Mainly market conditions, they are the worse I have seen, but they are going on much longer than expected.

I don't want people to loose money, so if it does not look up next week then lets take a break until market conditions return.

You will be able to see this when the BOOM demo makes new watermarks above 1.22M% again the market should be back to tradable.

You can see from the original BOOM demo we just started this experiment at the worst possible time.

Again I am sorry about this.

Cheers, Andy

Hi Guys,

A broker update for you. I have been working all weekend with them. It is critical we get minimal slippage for this system to work well. It already low but was not low enough last week.

They have been very helpful, they want to keep our volume. We have now been upgraded to an “Institutional Agreement” with priority execution of our orders, which go through to the LP’s with greatest liquidity, and removed every possible delay their end. I really feel they have done everything they can to help us. I hope we should see changes in the week ahead. These changes apply to everyone’s accounts here.

This I hope is the last piece of the puzzle, but let’s see.

Ok so where is the catch ?, well we have to keep volume and new clients growing to continue to get this priority service.

This could be tough if the current market conditions continue and I have to stop signals until the market changes. On the other hand I won’t send signals unless I completely confident we are back in money making conditions. As such I am asking for your help.

A) If you are currently signed up please feel free to try the new broker conditions with all your own trading systems. I don’t think you are going to get better conditions anywhere.

B) NEW CLIENTS - IF YOU WANT THESE CONDITIONS BUT NOT TO USE THE SYSTEM, THEN I HAVE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS SO ANYONE CAN SIGN UP TO GET THESE EXACT CONDITIONS. New clients and volume will help everyone keep these conditions. In return you will get the best conditions I know of.

C) If the conditions work well for you then please introduce your friends.

In summary conditions are :
1) Priority Execution and LP’s to reduce slippage
2) Rebates of 0.3 pips on every trade (You get the demo spread -0.3 pips on everything).
3) Average spread (after rebates) on EURUSD and USDJPY ~0.2 pips with NO COMMISION. (As low as -0.1 pips)
4) Min Investment $100.
5) No issues withdrawing.
6) Pure DMA through to 12 LP's

See attachment to sign up, offer open to EVERYONE.

If you do sign up PM me, so I can confirm you accounts are setup up correctly.

Thanks everyone,

Cheers,

Andy

Hi Guys,

Just to clarify point 5 above 5) No issues withdrawing. Is NOT meant to infer that normally there are issues withdrawing.

I have never heard of or had any issues with withdrawing.

The broker are very reliable, sorry if that comment caused confusion,

Cheers, Andy

Hi Forexbeginner,

I have been with these guys for a little over 1 year and 70 plus brokers before that.
These are the best conditions I have found.

htHi Guys,

A quick update,

1) Pretty good week this week. I have been sending the new system to you guys with only a max of 4 trades, so really low risk. I have attached a PDF of how the identical trades my end did. I think/hope you had similar results. The original BOOM demo lost this week, but we made money.

2) I kept running all systems my end, and this week pretty much made back all the losses of the previous week. I know it had little impact on your accounts due to the lower risk this week, but I think this is safer until we are sure everything is working as it should. Eventually I will likely blend the new (what you are getting now) and old (see MT4 hotspot bridge demo under my profile) to give the best of both worlds. I will reset the risk to normal as soon as market returns to normal (Pre May) conditions and the original BOOM demo makes new highs.

3) The new broker conditions seem pretty good. On stop losses this week, 0 or 0.1 pips slippage for the vast majority.

Finally for the next 2 weeks I am going to be away. I will not send signals as I will not have internet access to trouble shoot. Probably a good idea anyway as the news is split between next week (NFP) and the following week this month. So signals will restart on Aug 11th.

Thanks loads,

Cheers,

Andy

You should convert your bot to C++ and use multicharts or connect to an API so you can process through FIX, its really the only way to practically eliminate slippage least within real liquidity..
if you follow the flock like sheep you always end up stepping in shit!

Hi Sirius1fx,

Thanks loads, I have been looking at FIX for some time and working out the best way to proceed.

I had not really considered multicharts, is it really that much better ? I will do some reading.

I just finished a port to c-trader and I don't see too much over mt4, as trading costs are higher. Send me a PM if you like, althought I am just leaving for trip and may only have limited e-mail accces. Cheers, Andy

Hi Thomas,

I am afraid we are having the worst luck when we start and stop the copier. Overall it is well in profit since the start of sending signals. There have been 3 rough patches have unfortunately come at the same time as the copier is running at full risk.

See my account last night same losses as you guys.

From this point I am going to send signal continually (with the exception of NFP) it will eventually dig itself out. It is the only way just to keep it running. The system does work, but this is the worst start possible for people copying.

Cheers

Andy

Here is a balance chart that puts last night into better perspective over the last three weeks. The difference here is the rebates are included.

Just so people understand, the copier only started sending the system again in full yesterday, just before a loss day. During the 20th July to 10th Aug the copier was stopped (or at very low risk 21-28th July) due to news and testing.

Unfortunately, the three main restarts coincide with the loss periods and the solid profit periods in between were missed so the copiers are down at this point. It is very bad luck. From now on the system will remain running and it should dig itself out.

Hi Guys,

I have made an agreement with W2 Cloud (https://www.w2cloud.com) to provide me a large number of CPU’s to test the system on a VPS close to the PFD servers in NY at a price I can afford. The main system needs a lot of CPU’s to run.

This should reduce latency especially for anyone copying. If you are interested they currently have a deal for two CPU’s and a 2 gig of RAM for only $18.50 a month https://www.w2cloud.com/vm_plans.php

This should eventually put you on the same server as me and should reduce latency all around.

If you are interested in trying the VPS PFD broker combo, you can get the institutional broker conditions negotiated for the system directly at this link https://kiwi.pfd-nz.com/signup/logon?ID=64857

You do not need to use the system to get these conditions, anyone (but U.S.) can sign up. Conditions are fast execution, low slippage ~0.02 pips on EURUSD/USDJPY (after 0.3 pips rebate on every trade) with no commission. Funding in U.S. only permitted under the agreement.

While the BOOM system and copier combo so far have had a rough start, looking at everyone’s accounts who are running their own trading systems practically everyone is making good returns which must be a clear indication of great broker conditions. Feel free to take advantage of them.

Thanks loads,

Cheers, Andy

Hi Guys,

I have been looking at all the trades between myself and people copying. I have been doing pretty well, but the copiers not well.

Everything seems to be working properly. Really it is just bad timing. Look at this screen dump from the hotspot demo.

1) We started in an late June, it was not too bad a start, but we were at 0.01 lots so really made no money.

2) Then July 7th went for it at full risk and hit a very rocky patch all month.

3) Then we took a break for testing. Then we hit more losses last night.

It is just the worse luck. Moving forward things have to recover eventually.

Thanks so much, Cheers

Andy
