It sucks that myfxbook is no longer supporting the old way of analytics for oanda as all the people with old managed accts can no longer update. and oanda has no wat to link these old oanda accts to mt4 you have to open a new acct to get it. this truely sucks please myfxbook add back the old way of updating oanda fxtrade accts

bwizard, I'm afraid this wasn't our call.

Oanda changed their systems, so a history url isn't shown to the user now, which prevents you from copying and pasting it in Myfxbook.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

there is a program called fxhit which i was using before i found myfxbook i have to go to my transaction history and copy and paste my transaction history in csv i would be more than happy to do that here if it were avaiable. fx hit works but this is much nicer maybe there is some way to integrate that portion of that program to myfxbook i would update that way if i had to gladly

That would be a very cumbersome solution.

Moreover, our system relies on correct data structure and if a transaction is missed while copying and pasting the history, the entire history will be corrupted.

please im begging you to add this solution im sure many other oanda users would agree i can even send you the fxhit program and you can see how it works i would rather copy and paste my history to be able to use your analytics than not have them at all

There is an easy solution to your problem, I am using it myself right now - open an MT4 subaccount on Oanda and set up MT4 publisher to send data to myfxbook. You can trade this new account using FX Trade and your trading history will appear in MT4, then, when you want to update your fxbook simply open meta trader for a few minutes so that it uploads your history to myfxbook and voila, problem solved. The only inconvenient bit with this workaround is that you have to trade in multiples of micro lots (1000 units) because the minimum position size in MT4 is 1k, but thats only an issue if you have less then say, 200 bucks in your account and need to size your positions with more precision then 1k, no?

You guys at myfxbook could send out an email telling people about this... I'm sure there are a lot of Oanda users who think that they can't use fxbook unless they start trading using MT4 - I found out by accident.
