fxboston,

The way your account is, you are risking 30%, not 15%. See if you have version 3 or this new one Fx Papa mentioned (which I still don't have, by the way). If you have, there is something weird in your broker or in the EA that needs to be double-checked.

Hi

You already have it. 3 and 3.1 are the same.

lxboston,

Then if you really want 15, you should set 7.5 as a risk (and you would have really 15%) and maybe the EA developers could take a closer look at this situation to try to find out why this is happening with your broker.

It seems you are using older version of FxPapa.

I'm not sure why you haven't received the update.

Please uninstall the last version.

Hi FxPapa,

I have noticed that when your EA places a EURUSD order, an arrow at the opening price/time will appear on the EURUSD chart. When the order is closed, another arrow appears at the closing price/time. I think this graphical representation of a EURUSD order progress is great!

However, when your EA places a GBPUSD order, nothing appears on the corresponding chart. I realize that the EA is not attached to the GBPUSD chart, but can't you get the EA to create the order open/close arrows on it (assuming it's open)?

Hi FxPapa,

Why is the current GBPUSD trade at 0.12 lots when previous trades were at 0.6 lots ?

Hi

I think you have miss understood what I said. Please read the last post and you will find out how FxPapa manage it trades.

FxPapa uses equity stop loss. Default value is 10 which means the EA would close all open positions if total loss be more than 10% of the account balance.

FxPapa may open up to 3 positions.

When FxPapa opens the first position, if it goes to loss for about 60 pips it will open another position with same size and it will close both trades at the same time if total profit be about 8 to 10 pips.

If it still goes to another 60 pips loss, FxPapa would open another position with same lot size and would close all 3 positions at the same time if total profit be more than zero.

If they still goes to loss FxPapa would close all 3 positions when total loss be more than 10% of the account balance.

The TP and SL levels are coded on the EA.

Hi

Thanks for your attention.

We will back to 15% risk after this trade.

We updated the platforms and the EA started with that risk.

does this mean that at worst case scenario, we will have 3 losing trades, one -180, one -120 and one -60 pips?

No, it would be about 200 pips totally.

i see now 2 trades one of them is -75 pips, if the stop loss is -60 (so that it totals approximatly -200 pips if the 3 trades lose) then how come we are having a -75 pips trade?

Please read my last posts. The SL is not 60 pips. I've explained the order management rules completely.

nevermind, the only thing i care about is that maxmimum floating loss will never exceed 200 pips, i.e. worst case scenario will have realized -200 pips of loss, is that correct?

for only 10 pip profit fxpapa trades always opposite the trend.
its really ridiculous.
it should trade always with trend.
but fxpapa doesnt think like this.

I believe it went long because the previous short candle failed to close below the HA and the current candle long closed above it. This made sense to go long
