Bob, sorry to know your SL was hit. Meanwhile, Roger and the vendor are still without loss, as am I for I didn't get the bad trades. My FxPapa only started yesterday.

So, what now?

We knew this could happen. The signals should keep coming so some can recover from loss and others may profit. Business as usual.

I see no reason for FxPapa not to show up here. Though it seems strange their account didn't get the 30% loss. They're now at 18% drawdown. Are you sure they were over the 30%, maestro?

99% certain, the 1% is because I don't use the same broker.

However two of my brokers show that Pepperstone 1.59277 and Alpari 1.59281 was hit.. I gave his broker the benefit of 3 pips in my calculation and used 1.59250 as the high point in calculating the difference.

As it is GBP is climbing again so maybe we will get to see again if the loss is activated. Maybe it needs to close above 30% equity.

If you compare my account to the vendors it shows the third trade was taken 89 minutes later by the vendor. How did I get the signall 89 minutes before it was sent? Just lucky I guess.

I think the additional Trades are calculated AND taken by the EA on our MT4 Installation.

ONLY the first Trade was send from the vendor.

On my Account, the Trade from Yesterday was closed in Profit 10 Pips. But i ran it on an ECN Account with Commision. The Spread was between 0.0 and 0.5 Pips.

After the First Trade, the Client handle the Trades, you can close, hedge or whatever by yourself. Also you can set your own SL by an Trademanager of your choice.

If i was the vendor, i wait until the trade Seqence is close and submit my Statement to this 'BAD' Trade.

i sure feel like having been lied to by the vendor, his stoploss has been exceeded and obviously it did not close out. so he must run no stoploss and just pray the account does not get wiped out.

ah the wonderfull world of forex...................

I manually closed that GU sell trade on my live account for -14.1 pips. It looks like it would have went into positive territory if I would have left it alone, but I was nervous that it might reverse on me. I was just happy to get out with that small of a loss after being down about -130 pips earlier! 😲

Anyway, I'm requesting a refund. I'll let you all know how it goes. But I also feel like we have been lied to. I didn't even know that FxPapa was a signal service until after I bought it, because it is advertised as an 'Expert Advisor' on the website. I also don't like how the 'live test' account isn't closing the trades at 15% or 20% DD (wichever is correct) as it has been explained to us here. That is simply dishonest and designed to mislead potential customers... 😡

This account is not broke today because of the luck factor!

By logic, the account will break, and soon.

Save yourself if you can. Take care guys!

Regards.

You may be right, there.

I also had only one trade with 10 pips profit. No ECN account, but the trade was entered much later, immediately after I installed the EA, around 12-noon yesterday. So there was no need to do that multi level thing to try to save the trade.

I'll wait for news from Roger, now. And see if they send more signals... I only got one signal for 399.

Anyway, the equity fall is not showing on the chart. So it's like it never happened! Not good

yes myfxbooks drawdown feature sucks, it only shows dd in closed negative trades.

but what really matters how low the equity was from the all time high, thats what i consider the real drawdown. i will send them a mail maybe a future improvement to their site.

Yes, that would be better.

Meanwhile, the FxPapa people may be waiting for everyone to have their 3 trades closed before they send the next signal. So there are no violations of the max 3 simultaneous trades rule.

And yet, open drawdown is just as important as closed DD. Equity curve versus balance or profit curve. Floating (open) DD is what can blow an account.

Hi

We are creating an update for the EA to solve the SL problems. It will be ready this weekend.

Thanks for all comments. We are doing our best to keep the EA on success.

The creator of Fxpapa is not honest. He hide drawdown period in BACKTEST. It is clear. Do not trust!

I requested a refund, due to the fact that FxPapa is advertised as an 'Expert Advisor,' when it is acutally a signal service. And also because of the dishonest claim of the 15% 'equity loss' feature on the vendor's live test, which is actually much higher than that and makes its performance look much better than it should. But my request for a refund was denied by the vendor. So be aware of that before you decide to purchase it. I will now escalate a dispute with PayPal and go from there...

Dear Roger

Of course this is an expert advisor.

We are honest. Read the Manual and it has completely described the SL level.
