Hello,
I had the broker XM.com with micro Account, it doesn't work.
Now I am on Roboforex Pro Account and it has done its first trade. 0.10 lot = 4.20 Profit so far.
Can anyone confirm this trade at your account?
hi sniperb0t,
i took a look at your portfolio comparing it to other's user. your ea did the same trade, with same gain (4.2 pips). so i think yours is working fine now.
so i'm going to buy it. it seems to be profitable.
just a question. you had to use another license to make it work on roboforex ?
i can't undertand if the license restricts the account of a broker, or can only be used on a 1 mt4 terminal.

@Tabitaba yes I had to use my second license out of three
It's just restricted to the account number so that you can use it only with this logged in number in the account.
If you have a license on #1234 you can not use this ea on #1239 therefore you tell the vendor your accountnumber
he will modify you EA that it'll only work with this unique number

It restricts it to the account, but you get three.

Hi
how does it work with Activtrades?
And what is the exact GMT offset to set with it?
It works the same with any broker.
GMT offset you have to look what your market watch says, go a few pages back and read the manual for it.

From what i see is the percentage of profit lower and lower why was like that?
I would say because he doesn't adjusted his lot size after time. The bigger the account gets the bigger you can adjust the lot size.
He always uses the beginning size of 0.01.

hi sniperb0t,
Activtrades 11.55
GMT 9.55
So I have to set GMT +2 ...right?
....but I don't understand what I have to change in the summertime or in the wintertime...🙄

Yes right.
Now you have to change nothing. When the time is set 1 hour back in a few months (wintertime), you will notice that your market time will change too. So you just do what you did now and set one hour back in the EA in GMTOffset.

@thriftysigns how much DD do you saw in this 1 or 2 downtimes?
I set the Risk to .05 and ran the test again.
From 1-1-15 to 4-7-16, it did very well with a max of 27.47% DD.
1-1-14 to 12-31-14 was not good with a DD of 49% and only a 1.34 Profit Factor
In 2013 the account is totally blown on 7/11/13
I analysed all myfxbooks of users here with the EA today.
The backtest of alex shows a risk factor of 0.07 with 97$ deposit. 7 times higher than his recommendations of 0.01 per 100$.
Perhaps he does it because he can't adjust the riskfactor inbetween the test when the balance is rising.
As well the RUB account started with 2025RUB that's about 30USD with a risk factor of 0.01.
So he is about 3 times up his recommendations. (30x3 = 90$ so the risk factor would be 0.03)
But later he isn't changing his lot size therefore the percentage gain of eacht week will be getting smaller.
(For those who asked why it isn't going in the same pace as before.)
@thriftysigns the second question is, when you backtested, if the drawdown happened because of no possibility to adjust GMToffSet?
First I wanted to set the riskfactor a little bit higher like in the backtest, but the safest ways are apparently the recommendations of alex, 0.01 lot per 100$.
For your exitplan to double until the DD is cleaned, there will be always a risk, only future can tell.
So better running at recommendations, it will be slower for sure but after time the possibility is higher that you can keep the profits.
Fingers crossed that THIS could be the EA we'll ever need!

The risk factor is not the same as the lot size. Alex's backtest is at a rick factor of 0.07 (7% = 0.01 lots per $140.00) which is actually less then the recommended risk factor of 0.1. (Risk factor of 0.1 or 10% = 0.01 lots per $100.00)

The backtest was ran with the correct GMT offset, but I didn't account for Daylight Savings Time. I will re-rerun the test again and adjust for DST.

I don't get it quite, he recommends 10.000Deposit = 1.00 Lotsize, 1000 = 0.10 and 100 = 0.01
How you get 140$ at 0.07 lots?
What is it at 1000Deposit with 0.10? 10% ?
