I can not understand what happens with this EA.
Not being the classic scalper (those that keep trades for 1 or 2 seconds) I do not see the reason to yield so different results among different brokers. Any idea about?

Your real account is doing really good but I have 2 questions.

1. Your Lotsize is changing from 0.02 to 0.03, did you adjusted it manually or did it the EA?

2. You started almost with 1000$, do you wanted to start with 0.02 lot size? Just asking because in the email recommendation is told that you can use at 1000$ a lot size of 0.1.

Very curios about that, would be nice if you would answer, thanks.

Ok, just bought it and ran some back-test with 99% tick data. Slightly disappointed as it is actually a grid trader when it goes into a loss. My backtest does not match vendors posted backtest with same settings. The account crashed in my testing, but those trades seem to be missing from the report. Overall the ea performed very well, except for those one or two times. I will definitely use the Equity Sentry EA that was posted a while back. That should take care of those rare situations and still leave a good profit.

Maybe the vendor can update the EA to include equity protection, or at least a user configurable stop loss?

Same thing happened to me today.

Only one sell at 2016.04. 00:12:30 (GMT+2). I'm on FxPro broker.

Also just to confirm, current time right now is 22:28, broker time on current candle is 00:28

So I should be running the EA on GMT+2 I'm assuming? (Could someone please confirm)

Also, it's not losing trades, but not as profitable as LionFxTrader account.

Overall, I am happy as my account is up 17% from 22nd March 2016, which is amazing.

Yes your GMT Offset should be right.

Where are you running your MT4? If you run it on a VPS then the current time of the VPS have to be compared to the Markettime, not on your local desktop machine.

For example, my PC say 2 pm but the time of my VPS is 12 p.m!

I'm running it on desktop so I don't know why it's not doing all the trades

Any reason this could be?

Setup the one indicated in the e-mail sent by Alex: 90,36,55. Market time the correct for my broker GMT+3, and M15. But the curious is that it has worked well for three days till yesterday, that no traded at all.

@thriftysigns how much DD do you saw in this 1 or 2 downtimes?

@sjfx

Very weird... but you know that your MetaTrader have to run all the time all day long if you're running it on a desktop?

You can't close it and expect to make trades.

Second thing you can try or elaborate, go to this site https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/gmt

Compare the TIME on this site and the time of your metatrader at market watch (place where all the pairs are visible above is the server clock of your broker), what do you see?

@rafachuskas

The last trade from history is Open 14.04.2016 22:48 and Close 15.04.2016 02:19 is this one missing?
Unfortunately we can't look up the open trades if there are any.

Well, somehow you can check the open trades by checking the equity level.

It is a very useful thing to have ALWAYS in mind.

Regards.

I set the Risk to .05 and ran the test again.
From 1-1-15 to 4-7-16, it did very well with a max of 27.47% DD.
1-1-14 to 12-31-14 was not good with a DD of 49% and only a 1.34 Profit Factor
In 2013 the account is totally blown on 7/11/13

I was thinking running it with a risk of 0.05, and close all trades when DD is at 30%.
Then double the risk to 0.1 until full recovery of 30%, which would take about 5-6 weeks.
Then lower risk back to 0.05. The way I figure it is the chances of another large DD in that 5-6 week period would be slim.
Any thoughts?

Have you used the recommendations of 0.01 Lot per 100$ ?

I started this EA from today first time, do you have a trade yet? I am not.
