Kudos sPhantom! In less than 2 months, and in 23 trades, it has paid for itself! 😎

today they got same trade open right after 15 seconds , for sure they are using Profit Empire Robot with their own style

Dear @my_ea

I checked they report on FPA and I should say they have their own trading strategy which is not even close to sPhantom. They have started they account on 23/8/2013 while we started on 21/5/2013.

We are working hard to keep the EA on success and we are always ready to to protect our efforts. Please make sure about your thoughts before sharing them on a public forum.

I do not agree, Profit empire make different trades and not the same as Sphantom

How good is the trade copier? Can we expect to get almost all the trades and roughly the same number of pips (assuming we are using an ECN broker with low latency) as the vendor?

Till now i have got the same exact trades also if i do not use so low spread account. I am using a normal Activtrades STP account but soon i will pass it on a Pro account. Till now very good

If you permit me, don't use large risk factor! i use risk 5. Balance must grow slow and steady!!

I run pretty aggressive and I don't use the risk level. I trade a fixed lot size at 1 std lot for every 5,000 of capital so I trade 3 std lots on 15K. I do not compound. Profits are transferred out weekly. I am making about a grand a week. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. 4 months and I'll be playing completely with the house's money.

I'm sorry but I don't do slow and steady. I do work to assess risk and I do work to manage risk, but I don't trade with scared money. We know the 250 is a catastrophic stop so the true stop is somewhere in between. Assuming the 250 pip stop loss is hit on a trade though, that's a 7,500 dollar or 50% hit on the account, but I think that's a relative risk worth taking. I'm already halfway home, to being able to absorb that hit and not affect my seed money. In 4 months, I'll be trading completely on the house's money. At least that's the plan. I do trade other systems so in the big picture, if I do take the hit on this it wont be a massive portfolio hit because I don't have all my eggs in one basket.

I'm not sure to understand your statement properly? Mine was close after 10pips like usual.
What is your configuration? When you say sPhantom didn't close the trade, what are you reffering to? Usually trades not closed are more on the broker side, didn't happened to me yet.

Thanks for your precisions.

PS I have to admit that I would have take a 50pips profit instead of 10 this time ;). But better safe than sorry I guess. This EA diminish its risk by closing the transactions quickly.

You are right about minimizing the risk. I'm currently at 30 like the demo account, but the money on the table is money I can afford to loose. Since my broker gives bonus on deposits that are not calculated in the balance to calculate lot size, I went higher. But I will diminish it as I make more deposit.

It's all a question of risk aversion/profit appetite.

Hi R3DWING,

i am sure the sphantom will be more profitable with a trailing.
Could you please tell me more about your forextrailing bot.

I also use other systems. It is very important. And also to risk only money you can afford to loose!

I thought of emailing the vendor to see if they were planning on adding a trailing stop feature. Good idea R3DWiNG. I just put a trailing stop manager on mine also.
