Hi fxtune,

Welcome to the world of FX, you are lucky that you found Victors' page so early. He has been kind enough to share the system with us, which is unheard of in this world. Most traders of his caliber simply do not share their strategies.

If you read the entire forum here, Victor has outlined his system in the past few pages, and I have used it with reasonable success, but I have just started using it, and he will have more nuggets and gems of knowledge to share with us (I hope!!).

The system itself is very simple and the rules work when all steps are followed (there are only three!! - very simple ones). There is always the need for understanding of the surroundings, so fundamentals are important since this is a trend based system.

The key is to start small, manage your money well, have patience. Once you are profitable, you can start increasing your risk based on previous profits.

Hope that helps

I think people who think they can trade method provided by Victor as successfully as Victor do not understand that it is person who makes method work. I see a big discretionary element in this method hence it requires a lot of experience and self control.
I suggest first demo it for few months to be sure you can use it.

You gotta think for yourself if you want to be successful in this business.
I just enjoy seeing such a good trader making excellent returns with low risk, but I am doing my own thing. so should everybody else.

Thanks Solar. I just know from my own experience that it is not working this way.
Trying what these guys are trying to do set me back 8 months while I was doing fine doing my own thing.
It is Victor who decides eventually when enter the trade, how much to risk, when to cut loss and how much to let profits run, hence his results.
At least long enough period of successful demo or small real trading required, but usually it is better to do something that suits own personality.

Im 100% agree with you Chikot ;)

There are very few traders, they can show real account track record longer than 1 year and with consistent profit as Victor!! Great job mate, continue like that, wish you green pips.
Sit down patiently by the river and you will see the corpse of your enemy floating past :)

The irony that I could have , had I stayed with my own method. That's why I say I am set back 8 months.

kishorejoga : hard to say, we will see, but MACD is slightly below zero (was on Friday), so there is no signal from MACD to buy right now...(GBPCHF)

LOL, I do not care. I trade oil only :) But Eur/ Usd influences oil hence I am keeping my eye on E/U. You can see that daily green candle has closed above weekly down trend line candle. It might be a long way up if it holds above this trend line.

I am agree with you Chikot to some degree.
But I think Great mentor will lead you to great success.

I personally, can see lot more improvement in my trading after implementing the system that Victor taught.
(swimming back up from underwater)

But of course, as you said, we need to adjust to what we're comfortable doing.

I can not thank Victor enough for his sharing!

I have not see so far anything indicating that Victor here is to mentor.
Until he mentors someone Turtle style there is no point to call him mentor.
I see Victor's results as confirmation that manual trading with low risk and hard stops is working just fine when someone knows what he is doing.
I remember someone came to my thread and told me that he is amused to see in 2010 someone still trading with stops.
Here we see results with hard stops and low risk.
